I visited OP on the Great Divide in ‘24 and they took extra good care of me and the bike.

It’s right on the route, coming into Steamboat. although there are a couple of bike shops in town I’d recommend going here.

Staff took extra time to fix my bike and explaining the process, squeezing me into their busy schedule just to keep me on the road. 110% professional and friendly service. You can tell they care about the community and the different needs of people.

For an expensive place like Steamboat their pricing is absolutely fair and worth every penny.

During my relative short wait for my bike I was lucky to hang at the shop and observe them treating every customer with respect and kindness - no matter which bike they wanted, professional or beginner.

This is a bike shop straight from your dreams. Thank you!

Orange peel saved my bikepacking trip! Got a new salsa bar mount/ harness for my handlebar bags and it worked fantastically. Nice folks, seemingly good selection of gear. Would definitely recommend this place 😀

I've stopped at Orange Peel Bicycle twice while racing the Tour Divide. Both years they were friendly, efficient and fast. They had what I needed in stock and the repairs were excellent. My only regret was not being able to buy a store t-shirt because there was no space to store it in my frame bag. This shop is iconic and I plan to stop by again the next time I'm in Steamboat.

In town for Steamboat Gravel, I needed a Shimano Ultegra Left Shifter the day before the race, and every other bike shop was too busy to help me last minute.

The Team at Orange Peel had the shifter, installed it, and got my bike race ready while I waited outside in the comfort of their lawn chair.

Great shop with excellent selection of bikes and gear. Very helpful and friendly staff set me up to demo a couple bikes. Rode out 20 Mile road to the summit. Awesome 👍😊

Got a flat on my gravel bike, while in town, and they had it fixed quickly. The staff was super friendly, knew what they were talking about and had my bike ready for my ride the next day. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good bike shop.
