We really love this property ! The specialty meats and cheeses were exceptional. We purchased our first Wagyu steak and cooked it according to our host’s instructions and it was incredible . The farm is lovely and peaceful and the owner was friendly and welcoming."

Glen and Lisa were wonderful hosts during our recent stay at Oostema farmstead. The history of Wagyu beef that they shared with my wife and I was very interesting. The marbling of the beef was beautiful and couldn't resist buying a couple of steaks to take a couple home. We will certainly look forward to staying at Oostema farmstead when we're in the area.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday and we already can’t wait to come back! The little farmhouse is clean and cozy with all the amenities that you need. The property is peaceful and beautiful, Glen and Lisa are very friendly and accommodating. We bought their breakfast trio (farm fresh eggs, sausage, and bacon) as well as 2 farm raised wagyu beef steaks to cook while we were there and everything was delicious. I highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back!

Excellent selection, prices, and customer service - you can get a full lesson on the benefits of Wagyu from the farmers’ themselves and they’ll help with selection and provide preparation tips. Everything we’ve purchased has been delicious. They also have other local items (cheeses, jams, etc). Worth the drive from Bellingham!

Oasis of Tranquility
We so enjoyed our stay at Oostema Farms! The field camping is very peaceful and quiet with the cows meandering about. The view from the field was vast and we were treated to an amazing moon both night.
The farm is clean and well cared for. You can tell that the owners take great pride in the work they do and the hosting service they provide. They have a little store with lots of options and we are looking forward to enjoying the goodies we brought home with us.
We didn't want to leave such a relaxing location. Thank you Lisa & Glenn!

The best beef we have ever tasted was at Oostema Farmstead! We tried various cuts of beef during our stay at the farmstead. We tried Wagyu beef, American Wagyu and Angus beef. Each cut was very tasty and so tender! When we departed we filled our RV with Oostema Farmstead beef, eggs, bacon, and burgers. Once you try it you will never eat store bought meat again.

I love the tender taste of Wagyu beef burgers, and that's what I now serve at home. I also have cooked a tender roast and had a lot of delicious French dips with the leftovers. I was stunned at how fantastic the beef shank was in the Hot Pot. This cut makes flavorful meat for chili con carne. I buy my organic eggs here as well. Nice that I live about 3-4 minutes away too.

We had a great stay with our new Escape trailer! The field experience was excellent. Beautiful 360 degree views, and the chance to make friends with the cattle. Our favorite we called Whitey (a white head) who seemed to have an exceptional wit, as he was the only one who figured out how to kneel down under the fence to get the best untouched grass. Well done Whitey! We also purchased some Pichana American Wagu beef. We barbecued it a couple weeks later. What a delicacy!
