A week ago, Friday, January 31, one of their technicians came over to diagnose ($159) a Nest Doorbell Wired which On-Tech installed in 2023 (or 2024... not sure). They "checked" using another Nest doorbell he had in his truck and it worked. Five minutes later their diagnosis was; "Your Nest Wired doorbell is dead. You need a new Nest Doorbell." I followed his instructions and purchased a new Nest Doorbell. Just finished installing it and it still doesn't work. Did the technician misdiagnosed the situation? Why would he recommend something that isn't working?

I am not at all satisfied with the service I received. I called customer service 1-833-ONTECH1 to ask for redo. Hey! It's a week today. The phone rep had no clue about a Satisfaction Guarantee. I asked for a supervisor and waited for 15 minutes. The rep constantly apologized. The OnTech Satisfaction Guarantee is clear in the website. See below. Let's get this done. The technician, Chris, did an excellent job and was timely in his response to our location. When it turned out his earlier appointment had completed he called and we were able to move up our planned event by almost 30 minutes. This is helpful to me because I was able to run other errands. Chris was knowledgeable, professional, and willingly engaged in discussing alternatives to the network plan that I had. I found this very helpful.

The antenna we had installed was a Channel Master and we are very pleased with the performance.

The technician, Steve, was very professional and explained everything that he was doing. I'm by nature very chatty and inquisitive and Steve was also very conversational and very open to any questions that I had, both professional, technical and personal. On a scale of 1-10 Steve gets an 11. Give him a raise.😎

I had a really, really great installation with the super friendly hand helpful Kevin after booking through Google! Got both locks installed without a hitch, and had a really pleasant conversation to boot! Highly recommend the service and, if you're in AZ and get the same tech I got, you're in for a treat!

Incredibly disappointing experience with OnTech. On two consecutive appointments/reschedules, OnTech Smart Services cancelled with less than 24 hours notice—the first time with only two hours notice!
After the most recent cancellation, which consisted of flimsy excuses and apologies, I just decided to request a refund of the over $500 installation fee so that I can hire a reliable company. Of course, that in no way compensates me for completely rearranging my schedule twice.
I simply cannot understand how the concept of booking an appointment (or two) months in advance does not lead to allocating assets and technicians to be available…and apparently neither does OnTech Smart Services. Don’t waste your time or money.

I’ve got my mantelmount installed through them. They didn’t properly screw the top part in and over the course of time it fell off causing damage to my TV. Over $400 for this kind of installation. I’m glad none of us got injured.
