Horrible customer service. We had an interaction with Oakes at Holland Farms that was unprofessional and embarrassing. My family of 5 ordered fried foods from their food truck and were told these foods would have a wait. After waiting 20 minutes, my husband checked on the status. We weren’t in a rush, just wanted to make sure we didn’t miss our order. At this time, the staff became hostile. I approached the truck to clear up any confusion which made the staff increasingly hostile. We were accused of not coming to get the food when called multiple times for over an hour. (I was sitting at a nearby table the entire time). Staff asked me what I wanted to do and I said if it was too much trouble, we’d take a refund and move on. This made the older blonde staff woman irate. They gave me $10 and asked how much they owed me. I had no clue, so I just repeated my order minus what we already received. At this point, a manager came to apologize and give us the chicken tenders and told us to keep the $10. I gave the $10 back to them immediately and then she asked what else we had, to which I answered 2 order of Oreos. The manager went to the back to get the Oreos.

While waiting, the same older blonde staff member began antagonizing me and told me to leave the food truck without the food.

Eventually we were over it, so we walked on to continue our afternoon at Holland Farms where we were then greeted by the manager once again with the Oreos and an apology for the behavior of the staff member.

The Oreos were 10/10. Customer service was a big fat 0.

Time stamps provided below of us waiting in line behind two other customers to order at 4:23 pm. We finally received the rest of the food at 5:11pm.

Beware! They will rip you off and then lie to you about it. Husband didn’t check order before he left because we didn’t have any issues from them a few times before. Big mistake! Our order was short. And not only short, it wasn't correct. We ordered ribs and ribeyes and a FEW lbs of ground Chuck because we had plenty left over. Most of our order was ground Chuck and only 3 packs of ribs. Then they were very small. Not the usual size. So disappointed in quality. Ribeyes are small also. Not sure what happened but their quality of product and service went down the drain.
There are other ranchers in the area. We will never purchase from these people again. And I would advise anyone else not to either. Don’t waste your time and money!!

First time customer for deer sausage, it's excellent tasting, fast turnaround, very nice people. Will be using them again and already have refered friends of mine to them .

First the cons, mostly because no previous reviewer mentions them. It's in the puckerbrush (that might not be a bad thing),no meat case to see what you are getting& smoked sausage is only on a par with Conecuh sausage which I can get at Walmart. Pros the bacon and T-bone steak were just about as good as we have ever had perhaps with the exception of English & Irish back bacon. Over all highly recommended,will definitely be back to try other products especially "pigs wings".

Incredible link sausage, prices are reasonable for a meat market. Way out in the country and a great place to pick up meat for locals. Many people I've talked to use them to butcher and process their livestock, and kills.

Oakes is top shelf. My wife buys our meat there and they do all my deer and hogs never had a bad deal there. Staff is very helpful and courteous.

Never had a bad meal from there! Fast service and big ole smiles on the gals doing the business! Brisket grill cheese/fries/brownie and I AM STUFFED!
