Place is a joke! It’s privately Owned and why they are able to get away with half the bs they do! Charges upon charges and make it your responsibility to follow up if they didn’t send anything… ummm I didn’t know I worked for north shore?

I didn’t receive my water bill from last month so they charged late fee. After talking to their representative, they agreed to waive it but didn’t mention I had to pay SAME day without other additional hidden fee. On bill, it listed due date was on 2/28/24 and could get early discount amount by 1/30/24. Today, I received a “Reminder letter” to avoid service suspension. I called and representative stated $3.50 was added for a reminder letter but it’s not listed anywhere on the letter. Representative agreed it’s confusing and they will add it in writing going forward but refunded to refund it. She transferred me to supervisor and it went to voicemail! Dishonest business practice!

Extremely helpful--from the person who answered the phone to the crew who came out to do the work. Their utility map is amazing. I wish I could work with people like this all the time.

This review is not on their service, but their impact on the community. For your own sanity, do not ever choose to live within 1-3 blocks of the Utility District building. Multiple times a week they perform activities that result in uninterrupted, loud buzzing that resonates through your house. Not low-level buzzing that you can tune out, but loud enough that you better hope you don't need to perform calls for work because everyone will hear it. And it persists without break for the entire workday. 8 hours+ straight. Not to mention impact on pets, especially dogs.

It's ridiculous. I appreciate they likely have a very good reason for what they are doing, but they need to find a way to do it without impacting the community as they do.

Thankfully we were renting in the area first. We were looking at this area as a good option to buy a house but we will be looking elsewhere.

Worst possible experience. My auto payment failed in May for some reason and they didn't send a letter or email telling me until november. My bill is now over $500 and they are refusing to do anything about it. "It is not our responsibility to bill you". Who's responsibility is it then?

Horrible experience time and time again, store front staff is rude and above you, this is not the first time, refusel to update system forces people to actually come into contact with thesepower trippers. Only 2 forms of payment check or debit, and out pay? More hoops than a circus act. Who would of thought pay ing your bill would require so much negative contact? Disgusting how they can treat people who just want to deal and move along....rude store front....yuck.

Worst utility company out there. They know they don't need to change as it is the law for everyone to pay them in WA state... So if you have a problem and try to reach them, it's your job to retry until someone answers, that would be days... Auto-pay? Ebills? effectively nonexistent, the option they have for that is not a real option... It is the only bill that I have to remember to pay... Not to mention the prices...

Northshore Utility District has always been extremely helpful with our projects. They give precise directions, and both their office and field employees are friendly. I appreciate how they work to keep down our utility costs when everything else seems to be continually going up. Thank you, N U D.
