As a former heroin, fentanyl and methamphetamine addict, I have had my fair share of struggle, hopelessness and sorrows... But Glory to the Living God and His Son Jesus Christ for being faithful to the promise of New Life and New Hope... I also praise God that He led me to New Hope Ministries... New Hope is by far my favorite church in all of Southern Colorado. Being a Pentacostal Ministry that is firmly established and rooted in Biblical Principles, the Holy Spirit has a powerful and salient presence here and I am inspired every time I attend a church or prayer service. Pastor Lionel is one of the most dedicated men I have ever had the privilege of meeting and his love for the Lord and His people is truly a testimony to the Love of God. The congregation makes a strong church, full of gracious and extremely friendly people and I have had nothing but warmth and acceptance from the first day I attended. The worship music is rich, deep and ushers in the Holy Spirit to move freely throughout the atmosphere. If you are looking for a church that you can feel at home at, I highly recommend a visit to New Hope in Walsenburg. May God bless you and your search for the Truth. "Knock and it shall be answered.
