We are in the process of purchasing a home near Leavenworth in Chelan county, and Don went above and beyond to provide the BEST home inspection we could ever ask for. He was incredibly thorough, and made notes of every little aspect of the house that is not up to spec and/or dangerous; some things about the house we never would have thought of! We were on-site during the inspection and Don went out of his way to explain all the issues he was finding, about why there were an issue and the level of risk they posed to our safety/the longevity of the house.

Don provided us with an exceedingly thorough report that we are using to plan improvements to the property to make sure the house is safe moving forward. He's also been tremendously kind & professional, and answered any questions we had very promptly. I cannot recommend Don enough; he really knows his stuff!

I don't know why it's taken me so long to leave Don a review, because he was AMAZING.

My wife and I just bought our first home, Don did the inspection. He covered quite literally everything in his report, down to the air filter being in backwards. I *still* reference the report he gave us, and it's saved me a lot of time AND money already. Any time I have a question, he's quick to respond and help me out. I can't overstate how valuable of a resource his inspection has been.

Don's services are worth every penny and then some, I will definitely be using him again when we buy our next home.

Don Hester handled the inspection for the condo I wished to purchase. He had to handle it for me remotely, since I am not in the area. Therefore he coordinated with my son who is. Both my son and I (and the real estate agent) were highly impressed by the care he took and the suggestions he made. The thoroughness of the inspection was superb. The details he included, and the logic explaining what he described, was of great help to me in getting back to the seller for remediation, and, especially since I wasn't there to look in more detail myself, greatly relieved my apprehension about any problems that there might have been which would have come back to haunt me after the sale. I would most highly recommend Don to anyone who needs a thorough, professional inspection.

I have worked with Don on multiple occasions fixing troubled HVAC systems he has found during home inspections. There is no doubt that Don is the best! He is consistent and expects perfection from new homes and remodels!

The level of detail in that he brings to his home inspections is absolutely unmatched and he can really help you in your negotiating process plus give you a truly realistic view of the home you're purchasing. Additionally, he is also a member of the Washington State Home Inspector Advisory Licensing Board and the Program Coordinator and Instructor Bellingham Technical College. If you need an inspector Don is the best you can hire!!
