I've had solar for about a year and a half. If I could go back, I'd skip it. A large portion of my panels are not producing. I can't get a hold of anyone to get it fixed. My emails are coming back failed. The phone line was busy with no option to wait to speak to someone. I had to leave a voicemail that has been unanswered.
My loan payment is higher than my power bill ever was (power ranged from$100-$200. The first year of loan payments was $200 and then went up to $300 for the next 19 years) and now because a major portion isn't producing, I'm also paying an additional $100 for electricity. I'm paying twice the money, now. Definitely not worth it. This is on top of how much I already disliked the install. They showed up 6 hours late with no call, just me waiting around for them to show up. What was supposed to take "a day, 2 tops" took 5 days over 2 visits and a mess in my yard for me to clean up. Energy drink cans, silicone tubes, screws, wires, etc all just tossed and left for me. They didn't seal the penetration in the side of my house going into the breaker. I complained about it at the time. I was told they would take care of it. It never happened. They didn't install stickers on the panel so it failed the inspection and I couldn't turn it on so I was paying the loan payment and electric bill for two months in the beginning.

I'm attaching a couple of pictures. No need to show 15 examples of all of the trash left behind.

We started this project in July 2024. All seemed to going well, then things slowed down. I get call asking me to change lenders from Sonovia to Good Leap. This took 2 weeks and numerous emails. At this point it is November 2024. I stayed at the start that wanted the project at least started by December 2024 in order to claim the tax rebate in 2024 in case politics changed this program. Nope, finally got panels up in January. Once I switched lenders, I suddenly get an email from a credit union welcoming me. I had to call the credit union to see if it were fraud, apparently Good Leap joined for me. Would have been nice to be informed. I get a new guy come in to look at project. He tells me Forever Freedom has taken over my project, also news to me. Supposed to have City of Portland inspection yesterday, cancelled at last minute because they didn't have updated plans. So 9 months in I have to start repaying the loan at $266 per month, while paying $267 to electric company because the system is still not operational. If I had the time back, there is no way I would have ever started this mess. I still hope A) this is worth it once it is up and running B) I can still get the tax credit, otherwise my repayment goes up to $360 per month. I feel sad that I trusted these people. I did check reviews and BBB, but I guess bad stuff still happens even if one done due diligence.

As of today, April 16th , I have had no communication from Nationwide Solar .

This crew was phenomenal. They arrived in a timely manner and in a matter of hours our solar panels were installed; such efficiency. When the job was done they cleaned up every scrap of debris. We can’t say enough good about Tucker, Aaron, Alayla, and German. What a class act!
We highly recommend Nationwide Solar to anyone considering installing solar panels. The company makes the process so easy and keeps in constant contact throughout the project. They all deserve an A+.

Such a process deciding which solar option best fits your home! Nationwide simplified it and gave me very easy options to consider.
Upon going with Nationwide Solar vs the competition, the process was made even easier with scheduling, install and support. There is no better in the business! Ty Nationwide Solar!

Beware of this company. The sell team is good in the sense that it was pressure free but that's were the service and caring about you stops. I got my solar installed in June and had to wait for city inspection which happened a few weeks later. Aterwhich everything was approved and system should have been good to go. So I thought system wasn't producing I noticed it and reached out to company and they were like 2 to 3 weeks before someone could come out mind you the system was just installed and there was no follow up from company on how things were. Anyway someone came by look at the system and couldn't find problem and again had to wait a few weeks for someone to come out the whole summer months was lost it wasn't till end of Sept that I was finally resolved and that's even with me reaching out to said owner Jason Cain I believe was his name he was a joke didn't take any of my concerns nor was it the 1st time I've spoken to him. That's another issue my wife and I took on this project a few days before our oldest sons wedding and just after the wedding we talked more about it with our tax accountant and it was suggested we wait till we resolved some issues before doing the solar so we were thinking we resolved that and do solar once resolved nope nationwide contract only gives you 3 days from signing to get out with no penalties. Mind you it was the Monday or Tuesday maybe 5 days out and they were like it will cost you 10% of project already started which nationwide had projected to be if I remember correctly was 6000 to 8000. This company won't care about you once you sign the and they have what they want you are considered trash. Plus they will try and sell you a year later on some tax company that will save you money 💰 that's all they want from you. I will continue to spread the word about nationwide and the horrible ways of them but thank you to the sales rep that kept in touch with me and my wife even when all the everyone else lied about things .

This has been the most pleasant experience making a high dollar purchase I have ever had. From the sales team giving excellent communication and updates to the professionalism of the install crew not to mention the quality of their work, I couldn't be happier unless it was all free! Lol. I found nationwide after slogging through 12 other solar companies and I'm so happy I didn't give up my search. Keep up the great work and I'll be telling everyone I know how great you were.

Consumers beware!! We invested thousands into this company and have had high energy bills. Our energy costs have tripled with the cost of the solar panels. Ruben who came out to our home was great at getting back to us during the purchase process. Once we started having issues i can not reach him. He will not return my phone calls or messages. We have been working with his manager and been told they are working on it. Something isn't working right and they have not fixed it. Customer service is terrible so if that's what you want to spend thousands on consider yourself warned. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

"Beware of Nationwide Solar! I've been dealing with roof leaks caused by their installation for over a year. Despite calling repeatedly for repairs, they sent Michael to remove the solar panels, leaving them off for two weeks without follow-up. This irresponsibility has caused downtime and I'm still stuck making payments. Very disappointing service."
