What a great day trip spot! We enjoyed learning so much about Saltville and its history. The history in the museum expands from prehistoric through the space age. Informative videos, unique story told history, and lots of exhibits. I recommend budgeting for at least 1.5 hours. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The gift shop is great and reasonably priced items.

Great place to visit. Educational, well rounded and varied, most important, fun. Kids love it, adults love it and adolescents can tolerate it (you know how that is). Geology, history, botany, zoology, paleontology, archaeology, anthropology and likely a few other -ologies I missed. Lots of Saltville and area information, nice helpful staff. Excellent events for everyone. What a wonderful asset for our entire area.

Cute little museum, worth the small price of $5 to stop in and check it out. Enjoyed the informative short videos too. Very nice lady attending the front counter, also full of info about the history of Saltville and the museum.

This is a pretty fascinating history museum of Saltville and the area; from prehistoric times to present day! I spent about an hour here and Lauren has a lot of great info about the area as well.

Great local museum curated in an outstanding fashion! MUCH better than we expected it to be! The history of Saltville is fascinating and the lady at the front was friendly and helpful! Great exhibits and videos! If you are in the area, you should check it out! A lovely way to spend a few hours!

Was a great professional run museum. The exhibits are very interesting and surprisingly varied, ranging from the beginning of time, the history of the area till now. It's really worth the time traveling off the beaten track.

Just fantastic!!!! We had no idea what we were going into. Saltville is Full of history and geologic treasures. Definitely worth a stop!!! The ladies at the desk were very knowledgeable and just charming.
