Sam and his team always goes above and beyond to ensure that my equipment is in top notch shape with incredible turn around times.
I’ve purchased several bicycles and other equipment from Sam. He always stands by his products and the customer service from all his employees exceeds high standards. I wouldn’t consider ordering equipment direct from the manufacturer and missing out on the care and service provided at Mountain Adventure Equipment.

I just bought a Yeti eMTB from Sam at MAE. I had a fantastic experience dealing with him and the other folks at the shop. They know their stuff soup to nuts and show a passion for their products that’s unfortunately becoming rare these days.

The Jeep rental from MAE was the highlight of our entire 10 day vacation! The guys in the shop were really nice and drove a car up for me when I was inquiring about a rental just so I could take a look at it. The shop was very forgiving when the pass we were supposed to come back on was suddenly closed and we returned to the car late, and also when the only local car wash was closed and we weren't able to spray all the mud off. *San Miguel County does have a website that posts the most up-to-date road closures and Montrose has a car wash😉. Thank you Mountain Adventure Equipment!

We have rented bikes and paddle boards from Mountain Adventure Equipment several times. The entire staff is super friendly and helpful. The equipment has always been up to date, clean and very well maintained. Efficient check out/in, great location near the mountain bike lift and gondola. Prices are very fair too. I’d definitely recommend renting from this locally owned business.
