This place is just too good to update the publicly viewed hours, we live an hour away from the nearest city in any direction and two days in a row we drove down to do business and they closed at 2pm, after my husband even got told face to face that they are open till 4 every day they are open. So incredibly unprofessional, and a HUGE waste of time and an even bigger waste of money that we dont have. AND after telling my husband our copper we had is #1, and paid him for #1, turned around and the very next day when i went by myself and they only gave me #2 pricing for the same exact product. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.

The office lady is friendly and helpful to help you know how and what to scrap. For cars you weigh in on a scale then to the other yard to have them remove the car off your trailer. When it is wet it is a mud bog so wear boots, then reweigh. The lady give u a check and ur out the door. Easy! They take cans too!

This place is a scam I'm a builder here locally in Quincy I bring hundreds of pounds of weight to them in the past. Yesterday I had my misses bring in number two copper they listed it as number three insulated I also brought in number one copper 14 gauge and lower they label that as number two as well. copper price for copper right now is $4 and something a pound they gave me 2.92 a pound and then tried to argue with me and lie saying that it's the right current price for copper. This isn't the first time I've been ripped off by this place, however, normally the lady at the front desk the older woman she makes it right but the essays that are in the back working are ripping people off and this new younger girl working the desk was a very sarcastic to my wife yesterday when she told her they were not giving us the right prices for copper weight and I specifically sent her with just enough copper weight to test and see if they were still being dishonest at the place and they were so four times in one year they have ripped me off on prices. three times I've had it corrected and had them even credit me money because the lady at the desk knew what I took into them wasn't what they wrote down in the yard. so beware of this place they are not who they say they are if I could give zero Stars I definitely would it's worth taking your scrap metal all the way to Pacific iron and steel in Seattle copper is over $4 a pound there. They could have had more business like I have 1000 pounds worth I'm trying to clean my shop.....their losses.

Attached is a second photo and its clear that seattle scrap yards respect and honors truthful prices not lies.

Worst scrap yard I have been too. Inexperienced operators. Dropped what I was getting unloaded on my trailer and damaged my trailer. Then they had to get a second operator to get it off my trailer. After everything was clear. They put the blame on me and my co-worker said it was our fault. We were then surrounded and out number as if they were wanting to start a fight about it. We then went to scale off and 3 of the employees went into the office as I was going in as well. As if they wanted to make sure I didn't say anything.

We took a truck and trailer loaded with shreds to this place. They don't give a weight readout on the scale and when you weigh out, they round to 1000 pounds. I have never seen a recycler that did that. They said we had only 3000 pounds, there is no way that is all we had. The scale ticket showed that we weighed in at 9000 even and put at 6000 even. The truck and trailer weigh less than that, so I can only imagine that they rounded our load down to the nearest thousand pounds, while rounding our truck trailer weight up to the nearest 1000. Never going here for anything again. Idk how they can remain open pulling that kinda stuff.
