Moon Security conveniently does not provide a local Spokane phone number which seems to align with their customer service. I had a false fire alarm that went off at a building I own. I was on the phone for over an hour at 4pm trying to reach an actual human to assist and continuously put into voicemail. When I finally did reach a non-local customer service rep she was arguing with me that the fire alarm was not going off. It was going off and a simple direction of who to call to assist in disarming was all I was wanting. The fire department showed up due to neighbors calling and disarmed . I had a Moon Security tech out the following day to reset the alarm. He relayed I needed to call them to come out again and re-program after my broken fire protection pipe due to the freezing temps was up and running. Called this morning and they are charging emergency rates for a Thursday at noon appointment.This is for their Spokane office scheduler that apparently is also a tech. I have been a customer since 2018. I have paid my bill every month with little attention needed being a new building. One cannot gauge until there is an actual issue that requires customer service. Moon Security has been a disappointment.

I’ve now had my home security system for almost two years now and beyond satisfied. Cole, the rep who helped me out was very professional and answered all my questions. I’ve had a couple questions since installation and those were answered asap when I called in. Easy to use system and gives me the confidence I need when I’m away from my home. Can’t recommend this company enough.

Dumbest people I’ve ever seen. Would not waste my money or time. Their employees are reckless and potentially dangerous. Called them about an employee that I had to brake to avoid after he almost took out another car and would’ve hit me. I’m going to take the dash cam video and post it on YouTube. I called them right after the incident and advised them but they didn’t care to get back to me or excuse their employees poor driving decisions. I would recommend hiring a company with integrity and higher standards not only for you but their employees. If they cared they would have at least rectified the situation but they did not even acknowledge it!

If I could give zero stars I would. After being a customer for years I happened to notice they now offer a discount for veterans and first responders. After inquiring about it I am given two different stories and instead of simply honoring it they chose to lose my family’s business. Would not recommend.

Update: That’s incorrect. No one offered to honor the discount. I was simply told no.
