Roughly a year ago I purchased the Modwright PH9.0X phono pre-amplifier and quickly fell in love with it. With some small tweaks with tube rolling, it quickly turned into the finest phono preamp I've had the pleasure of owning.

Some months ago, I sent the power supply back to Modwright to upgrade to the 'T' upgrade and the process was quick, smooth, and worth every penny.

While the PH9.0XT is very well constructed and performs well above its price point, seeing other Modwright products in person has given me the exact same impression overall. While I've always been a tube amp lover, I'd really like to eventually try out their KWA 99 monoblocks and one of their LS models someday.
