If I could give six stars, I would. Had a Nilgai and an Impala processed. Before my hunt, I went and checked out the operation. John gave us a full tour of the shop. It was spotless and more than passed the sniff test. If you have been in processing shops, you know what I mean. I’m an out of state hunter with a lot of experience with meat being processed. They packaged everything in vacuum packed packaging so I can take my time using it. It was still frozen solid when I received it in AZ from SW Airlines. The boxes were all insulated. For an extra fee, they packaged my horns and cape. The horns were professionally packaged and I could tell they thought about how to keep them safe for delivery. Had the chorizo the first night and can’t say enough about the flavor. Had the sausage today and was blown away. Can tell these folks take pride in their operation and service.

Extremely pleased with our final product. The owners are passionate and staff responsive to needs of the customer. Their cuts are consistently good. The packaging is thicker than many other processing plants which adds to the security and longevity of your meat. We love our butcher and they help us create a fantastic product and service to the community.

Definitely not worth going to get a steer processed. How do you have a 1700lbs steer and not get even half the meat back? Now I know you want get the whole 1700lbs but make it make sense and on top of that their customer service is not great. Our family used them in 2023 and had no issues, but this year according to a lot of facebook reviews it has happened to a couple of people.
To Reply to your comment: My uncle has contacted y’all via phone prior to this, if the issue would have resolved I wouldn’t have left the review. Most people are getting back 50%of hanging weight verses y’all’s 25%. I wish y’all the best in business but we won’t use yall again!

Good service! Love packages. They are now offering to put meat in boxes and labeled with type of meat. Makes handling in and out of your vehicle easy and when unloading into freezer. Great place for meat processing.

This was our first time. Had two hogs processed and then dropped off a cow! Everything has been great. Staff was very helpful explaining the process, helping unload the animals and fill out the order form. All pork received is packaged in great amounts, just enough to pull out of the freezer and use it for a meal! We will be return customers.

I've used these folks for a few years now and every experience I've had with them has been perfect. The customer service from drop off to pick up is top notch time and again. I've never had the first moment of doubt about the beef I've gotten back, the cuts are great and they separate it exactly how I ask for it. Outstanding bunch of folks.

Original post: happy with the packaging job, overall their freezing facility appears to be in full functioning order.

Update: 500+ pound cow and only 3 small packages of the backstrap This is after we specifically did not get t-bones or any other cuts that would affect the this cut of meat. We are inquiring with management and I will update here...

Final update: spoke with management, the first thing they said was, “we didn’t steal any of your meat”. They said that one of the reasons we got so little of the cut of meat back we were hoping for was because one of their saws broke, and they had to use a sawzall on our cow... They did not offer any compensation, or any further accommodations because of this.
I’ve been told they have come under new management and it seems they are trying to get on their feet, I just wish it didn’t come at the expense of our cow or our choice cuts.

Recommendation: if you want to ensure you get the full back strap, I would suggest having them pack it whole and not have them cut into servings. We are bummed out, but we will survive. I do not think we will have anything else processed here.
