Derek & Ken are amazing! Most producers are hard to get in contact with. But here at Mirror Sound Studios these guys are quick to reach back and are very promising! I am extremely satisfied with their work! I highly recommend this studio to any type of genre working artist!

If your a recording artist, producer, or label - I **HIGHLY** recommend the professional services Mirror Sound provides. An impeccable front-end and back-end that you would expect from any studio worth their salt.(Neumann/Neve/API/Barefeet)

What sets this studio apart are Ken (Berklee Alum) and Derek (Wizard) - a beautiful mix of old and new school recording, mixing, and mastering. A *powerful * studio with wonderful state of the art integration of their API console via an HDX interface to Pro Tools for some of the best in-the-box mixing/mastering available. For out of box mixing, they have every industry standard piece of recording hardware (pics attached) ready to patch in.

Ultimately, though- there is a good vibe and Ken/Derek have great hang - making artists feel great about the recording process.

We recorded on a beautifully tuned upright overstrung piano. There is also a ready to go drum kit, singing booth, and isolation booth - all professionally wired and constructed for easy viewing and coordination.

I just wanted to reach out and say a huge thank you to Mirror Sound Studio for the professional, fun and comfortable experience behind the mic on July 31. Derek was welcoming and helpful, and it was real treat to watch him navigate the recording process and multiple takes and cutting and pasting with such ease and enjoyment! He and Nancy Wilson (producer) made a great team. I also appreciated the behind-the-scenes tour and chance to see how things have changed in a studio since the late 1980s! We had a shared chuckle over q-tips and rubbing alcohol. Time sped by and I look forward to doing more work with you in the future!

Great experience here! These guys are highly knowledgeable and made us feel really welcome even though we’re amateurs to music production. They weren’t like some engineers who act like hot shots, no stupid ego to work around. They helped us with some creative recording techniques we wanted to try! Turned out nice. Highly professional, amazing recording spaces, amazing gear to use - 100 percent recommend. Will be going back!

Ken and Matt were amazing to work with. They made my time in the booth doing VO comfortable and enjoyable. I've worked with a couple of other studios and none of them could provide the level of professionalism and quality that Mirror Sound Studio can. Not only that, they are laid back and have a great sense of humor! Cant wait to work with them again!
