On 1/10/2025, went in to use my $70 gift card I got for Christmas. I spent $90.36. I gave them the gift card. They said there was only $20.36 on the gift card and I owe $70. I tried to dispute it, but they were convinced they were right. Got screwed out of my gift card. The lady working seemed very confused. Never going back.

I bought a rabbit just before Thanksgiving paid around $20 for it. My husband asked me to get one more so last week I ordered. I went to pick it up yesterday and waited about 30 minutes while two different guys went to look for it and several employees walked around and barely said a word to me. This one was $51 which surprised me but was told it was bigger. That was why but it's true. First one was 2 1/2 pounds and I paid 7.99 a pounds. Second, is 3 pounds and I paid $16.99 a pound. I called and was told that the first one was sold to me at the wrong price. Whoever sold it to me, was wrong. It was the same person. Not once did the guy say he was sorry or anything. He just justified how the pay $15 so they were barely making anything on it. I could return if i wanted but that's it.

Given the options in town, its always nice to have a full butcher shop versus hitting up the general grocery stores. The staff were really friendly and eager to help with suggestions and recipe ideas.

While I came away only with a few ropes of pepperoni, if I were in town for a bit longer, I would be walking away with much more.

My fiance and I came here yesterday. We were looking for seafood. They had this board up of their frozen seafood products. We went and asked the helper how many seascallops you get in a lb and he told us. We said we would like a lb and then he said he's not sure if they have any. He came back and said their all out. We said ok. We would like the Mahi Mahi or the halibut. He then told us that they didn't have anything on the board except from the salmon; that they sold out of everything, to make room for Christmas. My question is why have the board up if you're not selling anything on the board or at least put on it out of stock.
So we then asked him the pulldate on the oysters and "they were pulled the day before thanksgiving, which was 6 days days ago." It wasnt 6 days ago, it was 11. Thank goodness we passed on the oysters.

I love Mike's Meats & Seafood! Everytime I've been here the staff has been friendly and helpful. The quality of meat is great, my personal favorite combination to get from here is the smoked pork chop with the twice baked potato! Very good!

Has gone downhill. Guy with long hair is gross hair should be in a net or something, cops attitude, Their manager acts like one of the employees, employees on cell phones, eating while on duty, long conversations with customers that are not even relevant to purchases and older lady is creepy flirts with the older men. Feels more like a dive bar these days. Sorry Mike- I'm out. (extra star because I like to support local business. Ill be back if they clean up this mess.

Great “ugly” steaks! Love them. Smoked pork chops are wonderful for any time of day. Pepperoni is very good. Disappointed with all of the garlic in the potatoes - first time trying them yesterday.

I went there today and bought two lobster tails on the Valentine's Day special, however I forgot them at Mikes and drove back to my home in Ephrata. I called the store as soon as I noticed to confirm that I had left them, Rita (I believe) answered the phone and was so friendly! She called mike who gave me a call back and said I could either get a full refund or replacement lobsters next time I was in town. They went above and beyond what I expected and I am so thankful for the wonderful service. I will be going back there every time I stop into town!
