We dined here last night with five families, including seven kids ranging from 2 to 11 years old. The place is cozy, and the service was good. However, the food, especially the burgers, was subpar and could have been much better. On the positive side, the beer was good.

Don’t let the outer facade fool you, because this pub has personality. This was just a short stop on our trip, but this endearing pub captured our hearts. Excellent beers, as always, and delicious food that hit the spot. Thanks to the kind staff for everything. Can’t wait to visit this location next time we are in town.

Recently, 2023, feels like Mill Creek is hitting their stride again. It will take time to reach the atmosphere and energy of 2019 but here's hoping Mill Creek succeeds! Having a great neighborhood atmosphere and a place to stop in late for a comfortable experience and a newly crafted brew is what we all treasure. Late night happy hour is BACK NOW (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

McMenamins roots are in British and Irish ales, and some like Terminator are perfection, while they have the trademark lighter raspberry Ruby Ale and Purple Haze boysenberry fruit beer too, but they sure are trending to American NW styles.

The Mill Creek brewery is making strides on their IPA's but also McMenamins in general is one of the few breweries that flexes their wings in many, many styles so there is always something new that is great to try. The fact that all the McMenamins breweries create new brews and share them across the locations is a huge plus for us and Mill Creek makes expert choices in filling its very large number of available taps.

This spot is not the best atmosphere from the outside at first glance, but the inside is nice McMenamins with the big old carved wood bar and many of the servers are excellent! Sitting is great on a warm, sunny day in the afternoon, and outside is the secret al fresco spot in Mill Creek. (｡•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

Leaving this for management after 3 visits over a course of around 6 months. If you come here, please treat the wait staff kindly. You can tell management is not doing their job as leaders or really disrespectful to staff. We live right next to this location and mcmenamins was our first date so we tend to go sometimes as a nostalgic treat. We loved the building itself and they have a gorgeous outdoor seating. However, the last three visits have been bad and this time around they just comped our food and gave us a gift card. Our server looked miserable but was patient and kind. The previous two were very rude and one left us alone for about an hour and 20 with no drinks while we waited for food. I had to approach someone at the bar to ask for a water. The entrees were poorly made the second visit, and this time around was the worst. Both our burgers were burnt, buns burnt, no cheese or sauce on mine, and our tots had been cooked so long they were completely dried out and nearly burnt. The server told us she'd talk to the manager who didn't come out at all, just comped the meal and gave us a gift card. My dad was GM for a long time and never would have let a customer go like that without hearing them out. The server told us she was putting in her two weeks when we apologized for the way other customers were treating her due to the poor food service. She recommended the Bothell location to us, I'd take her advice until management decides whether they want to have a successful business.

Server was very nice but accidentally selected side salad for my burger, so brought me the fries on the side but still charged me the $2 extra for the salad I didn’t order. And charged $3 for a soup I didn’t order or receive. Didn’t give me discounts for either of my happy hour appetizers. And when the bill came he didn’t even tell me the price before he took my credit card. The food was ok, not great. Will likely never return.

Kind of disappointed. Last year we had a less than favorable visit at the Mill Creek location. Service was slow. Two tables that came in after us were served about 20 minutes before us. When we finally were served our burgers they were cold and dry. We did an online review and we were sent a $40 gift card with a very nice apology only to find out that 4 months later the card is inactive!

Good lunch and a nice flight of beer. Another reviewer called this a “local McMenamins”, that’s the best way to put it. It’s not as grand as the other locations, so you might be disappointed if you’re a fan of the brand and traveled a bit to come check it out, but locally, it’s a great place to grab a bite and a beer.
