👍 Reviews of Maggiano's Little Italy

I have been to several Maggianos which are typically very good however this particular restaurant seems to be just a bit more special than the others in the chain. The atmosphere is is very nice, with 40/50s Italian style music playing lightly in the background. There are actually two floors but I’ve never been upstairs. They seem to have an extensive wine and liquor list in their bar. The staff is always wonderful. And of course the food is terrific. Even a simple spaghetti and meatball dish is a cut above. I almost always find myself gravitating to this restaurant when I visit the mall. Always very clean, peaceful and relaxing.

The food is absolutely delicious, and the serving size is perfect for two people. My family and I always enjoy coming here, and the service is excellent. On our first visit, we received outstanding service from our server, Ismael, which made the experience even better. Now, we love coming back again and again!

The food was absolutely great! We started with a couple of appetizers, and the zucchini frites, which were recommended by our waiter, absolutely stole the show. They were crispy, flavorful, and honestly, they might just be my new favorite appetizer. I was so impressed that I could've eaten the whole plate myself, but I had to share (though it was hard to resist!).

We got pretty full from the appetizers, so by the time our entrees arrived, we decided to take them to go. The portion sizes are huge -- definitely not stingy at all. You'll get more than enough food for the price.

On top of the food, the customer service was top-notch. Our waiter was friendly, present, and super attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Overall, I had an amazing experience at Maggiano's, and I will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

This was my first time going to Maggiano’s & when I tell you that it did NOT disappoint!! The waiters were amazing, especially Marco, who was so sweet and funny! The crab cake, crispy mozzarella were fabulous..and don’t get me started on the baked ziti & seafood pasta!! I took my boyfriend for his birthday, and we both had the best experience at this place! We’ll definitely be going back very soon! 💕

I’ve been coming here with my family for years and it never disappoints. My friends and I came to celebrate my birthday and our waitress, I think her name was Kim, was so nice! She was attentive and gave us free dessert to celebrate my birthday. I love this place for the atmosphere, food, the price for the amount you get and more. Love love love!

It had been a couple years since I've eaten here, so obviously things can change, but I wasn't expecting such a change w the lasagne, my fave Maggiano's dish. I was expecting the traditional square w red sauce and melted mozzarella on top and what I got was a rectangle about half the size it normally is, drowning in an orange colored sauce, similar to tomato cream sauce, and no cheese on top. I'm not the type to send things back unless they're inedible, and this tasted nice, just not like what I had been ordering for over a decade. I see a pic on a review from 2 months ago and it looks like what it always has looked like. Did they recently change their lasagne? I wouldn't order again if so, especially since the sauce was literally as deep as the peice of lasagna. My husband had the Alfredo w shrimp. He said it was good, but not as good as he remembered, though there were a generous amount of shrimp. We had shared a Cesar salad and the dressing was definitely less flavorful than the past, but the lettuce was crunchy and fresh. Service was polite, though we weren't offered more bread or even more olive oil to use on the remaining peices we started with. No bottles of olive oil or any other condiments were at the table and our waiter disappeared until he brought the entrees. It wasn't a horrible experience or even a bad one, just not the same as we've enjoyed for years prior. I'd go back if someone could confirm the lasagna has been changed or if mine was plated incorrectly.

This restaurant is an excellent location, at the Tysons Corner Galleria, a very high-end mall. We were greeted with a smile and were told our table would be ready in 15 minutes - a party of five. 45 minutes later, the table was finally ready. The food was mediocre. Honestly, lower tier Italian restaurants have better tasting food. All of meals and even our side salads were not good. The worst part of the experience was the service, in particular the waiter. He finally greeted us after we had been sitting at the table for 20 minutes. He came back 20 minutes later with bread. He didn’t write down our orders (which is fine) but came back 20 minutes after taking the orders to ask us again what we ordered! We had to wave him down for drinks and for extra bread and whenever he arrived he kept the used plates and cups at our table. Honestly, this is probably the worst restaurant experience we’ve had in over a decade. The food has no taste, nothing special at all and the service is absolutely terrible. This place is overrated and under performs. There are plenty of other options at this mall and in the area. We all were highly disappointed.

Again, another winner of a selection for fine dining in D.C. service was excellent, food was outstanding and way more than we could eat. Highly recommend.
