I recently had my wedding in 2022, and I couldn’t be happier with the incredible service provided by Lotus Production Complete Wedding & Event Services LLC. Shawn, our wedding planner and designer, made our day truly magical. 😍

I wanted to incorporate my husband's Persian heritage into our wedding, and Shawn did an amazing job with the Persian wedding table (Sofreh Aghd). Despite not being Persian myself, I was blown away by his attention to detail and respect for tradition. The Sofreh Aghd was beautifully set up with all the traditional elements like the mirror of fate (Ayeneh-ye Bakht), candles etc. The flowers were stunning and added an elegant touch to the whole setup. Shawn also included honey, nuts, fruits, and other symbolic items that made the table perfect.

Shawn's knowledge and passion for Persian culture really shone through. He was incredibly kind and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. His expertise and creativity turned our wedding into a fairytale.

The overall decoration was breathtaking. Shawn’s ability to blend traditional Persian elements with modern aesthetics created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail, from the flowers to the elegant designs, was flawless.

His dedication, professionalism, and warm personality made our wedding day unforgettable. I’m at a loss for words to describe how incredibly Shamim and the rest of the Lotus crew handled my engagement party this past Saturday. Everything was perfect, and this is coming from someone who is a perfectionist herself (i.e., has extremely high standards). They not only took care of everything from A to Z but they thought of things I hadn’t even thought of that added a special, personal touch to every little detail. We had about 90 guests and every single one of them have been raving about the entire party - from the DJ to the food. Not only was it perfect, but Shamim is such a down-to-earth and considerate guy that you feel so secure the whole time. I didn’t have one stress the entire night knowing he was there. He’d even come check on me to make sure I was eating. All of this perfection and it’s still the most reasonable price was found after doing tons of research. To say this is a bang for your buck is an understatement. I really can’t say enough good things. Shamim and the rest of Lotus productions should just run the world and we’d all be better off 🙂

Shamim and his team are exceptional! They truly went above and beyond my expectations and delivered nothing short of perfect. We had a short timeline, tight budget, and particular requests made for the Big Day...they handled all challenges effortlessly. Hands down, the best event planning team in the Metro DC area.

My experience with Lotus was AMAZING. If I want to put it in a few words, Shamim made my $$$$ Pinterest-worthy vision happen on my $$ average budget all the while being far more of a friend than a 'vendor'! I had food, photo, video, and lighting and he also delivered so many extras for me. I'll try to get into as much as the word limit allows here: FOOD- Food was just amazing- I received so many complements on it. Just before the wedding, I decided the dessert I had contracted was not enough and I wanted a full dessert table with different items in little shooters; I don't know how in the world but he made that happen for me in such a short notice, AND AT NO EXTRA COST! FLOWERS/DECOR- Shamim made me centerpieces and bouquets that were huge, gorgeous, and far beyond what I had hoped or technically 'paid for' per contract. He also threw in corsages for the moms and all the boutonnieres for the groomsmen! Most importantly, I wanted these specific crystal candelabras for my long tables and he literally bought them OUT OF HIS POCKET (these were not cheap!) to bring my vision to life!!! he also bought new centerpiece bases because I didn't like the ones he had in stock, and through in extra up lighting!! the space really looked out of this world. PHOTO/ VIDEO - I haven't had my video back yet but I got a sample of my pix and ALL my friends have commented about how good they turned out! Shamim also gave me extra an videographer at no additional cost! EXTRAS: I wanted a personalized oversized frame instead of an arbor, and he had this made and delivered for me only at cost of material!! AND he SURPRISED ME! with a gorgeous backdrop FULL of flower designs! AMAZING!! & must have cost $$$$!! Beyond all this, Shamim was BEYOND SUPPORTIVE through the whole process, being there at any hour of day OR NIGHT! for anything, offering FAR more than was his job. He's in it with his WHOLE heart and WON'T SETTLE for less than your dream. I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH Shamim & the Lotus team!!

Everything we asked for and more!! I was in a real bind – I had to find a photographer for my brother’s wedding in a short period of time. I searched for photographers with high ratings, and after spending half my morning talking to them and feeling disappointed, Lotus productions was next on my list of high rated photographers to contact. From the first couple of minutes speaking to Shawn at Lotus Productions, he left me with a confidence that I knew we were in good hands and that he would make sure all went well. He stood out from the rest – he didn’t have a lot of conditions and rules like the other photographers. He was generous with his time and the offerings for the price we paid. He was true to his word - he delivered a memorable experience and produced a quality production for my brother’s wedding. I highly recommend Lotus Productions!!

It is hard to express in just a few words how glad I am that we found Lotus Production--Shawn and the team are phenomenal! I don't have much experience managing parties and called Lotus on short notice hoping they might be able to provide uplighting for our January 2020 volunteer appreciation banquet. Shawn was generous with his advice and time and demonstrated tremendous enthusiasm for making our event special. We held the event in our fire hall, so it's a place that many of our volunteers associate with being on duty, but Shawn transformed the space into a magic banquet hall and ballroom. He suggested ways to use lighting, curtains, chair covers, and thoughtful hospitality to make a special night, all while minding our budget. Our guests kept commenting all night long about how great everything looked and how much they appreciated what Lotus brought to our event! I highly recommend Shawn and Lotus!

I recently hired Lotus Production to film a video for my wedding. Lotus Production uses a creative, fun style that incorporates short clips throughout the day, instead of playing a long, home-video type of recording that usually gets boring quickly. The video is more of a "highlights" of the best moments of the day. Sean worked with my husband and I to make sure all of our favorite parts of the day were included.

Sean also took our engagement photos. He is a true photographer and worked with the natural lighting to create some great shots that we are happy to have even past the time our wedding photos look dated.

Even tho he knew we were a little out of our comfort zone with the budget he still tried to accommodate us. We have chosen to go a more budget friendly route to accommodate purchasing a home however I have no doubt Lotus Productions would produced the wedding of my dreams
