Wow! We really hit the jackpot with this place!! What a jewel of a place to experience and enjoy wine country! Our cottage was perfect-- beautiful, clean, comfortable, well appointed ( even an electric tea kettle woohoo!!) amazing view, quiet and everything we could have hoped. The food and wine was truly exceptional but sitting outside in the bubble (and being so pleasantly served there!!) protected from the wind and spring chill while still enjoying the view made it a day to always remember and cherish. We loved everything about our stay at Lone Point!!

This was a great place to celebrate my wife's birthday. The unit was very clean and impressive view overlooking the Columbia and Okanogan River. We enjoyed a relaxing meal in the restaurant and had great service. The bed was comfortable with quality pillows and sheets. We brought snacks and breakfast and there is everything for light cooking. There is a generous assortment of Keurig coffee and tea available. It is obvious the owners have given a lot of thought and TLC to make this a quality accommodation on a working farm property. Definitely would like to return especially when we are able to take advantage of the off season discounts.

We love coming for a great meal when we’re in town. The food is always good but now they have artisan cocktails and they’re amazing!! I had the Winter Paloma and the Ready Aim Fire…they were delicious and unique and I would come back just for the drinks!

I stayed here for three nights, and while there were some positives, there were also a few issues. The interior was very nice and the bed was very comfortable, and the management was friendly and responsive—even answering questions on Christmas night, which I really appreciated. The views were great, overlooking the vineyards and river.

The power went out for a few hours, and after it came back on, the TVs wouldn’t work. We tried several fixes and even the restaurant server tried to help, but no luck.

The biggest problem was we had neighbors on our first and last days and the walls are pretty thin between the units, so we could hear them walking around and closing doors. There was also a noticeable fly problem, there were dead flies around the bedroom window and bed when we arrived, and I ended up killing a bunch more during our stay.

Overall, it’s a decent place to stay that is dog friendly and has some great views, but some improvements are definitely needed to make the experience better.

We stopped just for a tasting and some food. On our way through town. We’re so glad we did. Can’t wait to come back in the spring when the outdoor patio would be a huge highlight! Just gorgeous views! We really enjoyed our wine and the “hot honey” pizza was memorable and bacon wrapped dates we’ll continue to dream about for ages. Very much worth a stop.

Went there today February 15th. 4 flights for tasting $80 $7 returned for every bottle you buy.
Ordered the dark red flights. They were delivered promptly and ice cold. They just came out of the refrigerator. Not bouquet, no flavor, nothing. We put them down to warm for 30 minutes. We finally asked for a bottle off the wall hoping it was warmer $40. It was ice cold too. What do they do, turn the heat off at night?
So we have a bottle warming and 4 flights. Trying to get something drinkable. So we ordered martinis. The drinks arrived shortly and we enjoyed them and a Charcuterie board that was also very good.
So the flights were finally warm and they were......mediocre. Red? Bouquet? No, flavor? zero, smooth? Yes, very.
The best I can say is the wine would be best in a box. I would be embarrassed to bring it to friends. After spending yesterday at Fielding Hills drinking Estate Syrah's, Merlot's, and Cabernet's that were wonderful (and room temperature) for just a few dollars more I can only say I was truly disappointed in Lone Point Cellars.
The mixed drinks were 5 stars, the venue is 5 stars the staff and service is 5 stars, but the wine? Hard pass.
We will be back again to enjoy the venue and next time it will be Lunch and Martinis.i would taste the wine again even if it was free.
I wish they had a corkage fee so I could bring good wine and enjoy their food.

Stopped here on a whim during a drive from Nelson to Leavenworth and am so happy to have done so!!! This winery is a worthy destination all on its own. The tasting room & restaurant are beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the view is absolutely gorgeous. Staff all seemed to be having a good time, which is always a good sign. Wines were very good, especially the Tempranillo!!! We only got the feta and olives appetizer, but it was scrummy, and all the other food looked very tasty. Patio is dog-friendly. It is worth going out of your way to check this place out!! We'll definitely be back, and hope to stay at the lovely on-site cottages next time!!

Beautiful views with great food and drinks! Sit near the misters if it is hot. Swing seats looked ideal but we were way too hot. Luckily they had no problem with us changing tables.
