My wife wanted a lazy boy for her mother's day/anniversary gift. Yes our 42nd anniversary was May 12th 2024. So after visiting a few places we ended up at Lazy Boy home furnishing. We were greeted promptly and shown about the place for a recliner. My wife picked out this one in the photo and she likes it very much. Thank you for the great service and selection to pick through. I'll keep you in mind for Father's Day!

The sales associate was great, and the buying process wasn’t bad. The only part that was frustrating was the multiple times they said it would be delivered. I took off on the 28th of last month for my $3700 couch to be delivered and no one showed. Then they said it would “probably be delivered on the 2nd” and they couldn’t find my couch in the system so it’s probably in Birmingham. I called on the 3rd and they said that it would be in the next week on Monday and expect it Tuesday. So I waited and called 10 minutes before close on that Tuesday and they said it would be Thursday when it was to be delivered and they would call me the night before to confirm a time. I called them Wednesday night since no one called me and they said “someone should have called you, when we weren’t a corporate store we could handle customers better, but it will be there tomorrow morning between 830-11”. Which I’m glad I called because no one let me know any kind of time. The delivery guys were awesome but they only called 10 minutes before hand, so I’m glad I was home. They unloaded my new couch and seemed like they cared. They said they had no idea what they store was talking about and that they didn’t know of any instructions to call me or anything the store wrote down. They said the store puts a lot of blame on them.
I had my couch arrive yesterday, and in the middle of today I get an automated message saying my couch will be delivered with yesterday’s date on it.

Overall the product is good but horrible communication. I had to call and bug them for weeks to get any kind of update through the process, and also lost a days worth of work because of an earlier promised delivery date.

Great salespeople - not pushy but happy to help me find my chair or loveseat. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but I knew I was getting my 6th La-Z-Boy piece that day. Their furniture is so well-made & comfortable. They were also running a great sale! ? I was fairly open to different types & styles, so the salespeople showed me some various pieces & then let me bounce back & forth comparing them, sitting on them, flopping down on them! ? Left having ordered a FABULOUS chair named Paxton but in a Cinnamon 'leather match' which is a combination of leather on top & synthetic leather on the sides & back. Much more affordable than full leather!

Nice store with a decent selection considering the internet age we live in. Friendly staff eager to help answer questions and even take it further with customized interior design. With their customized options they can please the pickiest persons desires.

This was my first visit to the “new” store. Very nice ? A definite upgrade over the prior location. Well designed store as well. I like the location and ease of entry as well as exiting the parking lot.

Outstanding products, I’m a repeat customer for this reason alone. I’ve been buying La-Z-Boy since the early 90’s. You might pay more for it but it will last and last and last and last.

Well, I really didn't want to have to do this review, but thanks to Mr. Clark and I don't mean Clark Kent, I have to. Lazy Boy Montgomery, Alabama on Atlanta Hwy.
I ordered a chair which I was told that they had a Theo leather chair in their Birmingham store. I started off wanting a recliner, but when I saw that chair, I loved it. Anyways, Traci (y) was my sales person who was really nice. The problem started when I was told the chair would arrive in about 1 week which was great. Then got another text stating that the chair will not be on the truck it would be another week. Now we're at almost 3 weeks. Which really wasn't a problem to be honest. Anyway, I did get the chair on 4/20/2024. The delivery guys were really nice and took their time getting my beauuuutiful chair inside. They get it through the front door, but just before they took it through the master bedroom doors, I noticed a little scrape near the arm of the chair showing the under material. I pointed out to them and was told to contact my salesperson and they will tell me what to do. So I emialed Tracy(i or y?) right away along with a picture of the spot. I got a replie on the 21st of April which was fine. She let me know that she was out of town and that she would check to see if they may have something or find out what might can be done for the scrape. On 4/23/24, Traci(y,ie,) texted me to say Clark (big mouth) stated that I could get a leather repair kit from Amazon. She then said that she wasn't sure if it would get worse. That my chair "WAS A FLOOR MODEL"! I was never told that this was a floor model. If i had been told, I would have said that it was okay. I was never given a chose. NEVER!!! Traci texted me to say there there were only 2 left, the one at the Montgomery Store and the one in Hoover Store. Should that have said to be floor model. It may be understood to the persons that sale furniture, BUT THAT WAS NOT CLEAR TO ME. She also texted to me that it was a clearance item. I've purchased many things on clearance that were not damaged. Had I been showed the scrape on the chair, I may not have purchased it, but give me the option. Lazy Boy show not have been the one to make that choice for me.
Now to the good part. I was really made at this point until the day I decided to go to the store to speak with the store mananager who I believe is Mr. Anthony (Tony) but he was not there. Traci (ie, y) greeted me and the next thing I know, BIG MOUTH CLARK jumps up from his chair speaking loud telling me that I came to this store made at her about this chair. I said you not going to be yelling at me. He asked like he had to protect her telling me you she told me that it was a floor model. That he heard her tell me. You are a F*g liar Clark, I did not know and if I did have have reason to lie about it. Floor model or not, it should not be damaged and you know it. I stated to him again that I loved my chair and I don't appreciate him yelling at me and talking to me that way. I let him know that if a man had come into that store with me, he would have never acted like that. He acted like he wanted to fight me. I mean it he jumped up from his chair. was just nasty to me. I was pissed at that point. I don't except any man talking to me like that. AS I had stated while in the store, I am not mad about the chair, but don't call me a f*g liar CLARK! I wanted to get nasty back to him, but I told him if you want to see ghetto, I can show you ghetto. He was raising his voice and then told me buy that I can leave the store. I didn't need you to say anything to me you dusty a** chap. Just as you did on the first day in the store while there was a few hours. On my second trip I waited on Tracy (i, ie) for about 2 1/2 hrs without you even acknowledging that I was even in the store.
CLEARANCE ITEM OR NOT, I should have been told about the damage. Clearance item okay, but cheap NO! $799 for a chair, is not one of those times when people say, you get what you pay for. GIVE US THE OPTION! FULL DISCLOSURE!!!

Sales staff and designers were helpful during purchase but as soon as La-Z-Boy support got involved it all went down hill. A year after purchase of my power recliner the piston popped the weld and would no longer raise the foot rest. I was told by support that I would have to pay for the repair as it was no longer under warranty, which is fine and understandable. However, I spent months work with support to try and get it resolved but to no avail because there was "turn over" so my ticket kept getting shifted around and eventually "lost". A few more calls later they recommended I take it to a local dealer to see if it can be repaired and all they did was put a metal zip tie on it to hold it. I called back to complain and they said they could send me the parts to replace the entire motor assembly myself. When I mentioned that the local dealer couldn't fix it what made them think I could? Was I expected to spend $300 on parts only for me not to be able to fix it? Yes... This back and forth went on from about September 2022 all the way up to July of 2023. At this point they told me I could take it back by the local dealer but its not worth the time and energy. I'm closer to just throwing the chair away and not buying la-z-boy again, which is sad because that is why we bought from them in the first place. We thought we were buying quality products.

These folks stand by their word and will go out of their way to help you. We had a delivery mix-up which resulted in a pretty big waste of my time, but Clark and Tony really made up for it! Overall, I had a great experience and left feeling completely satisfied. I highly recommend this location, the employees are great! Go see them!
