I got married in July at Spruce Saddle Lodge in Beaver Creek, and because of La Vie Adeux and Caroline, it truly could not have gone better!

I was told by other planners I interviewed that our budget was low for the venue/area and would present a challenge; Caroline heard it and said "we can work with that!", an example of her bright positivity that sustains you through the whole process. Since our budget was "lower" I debated if spending on a wedding planner was worth it. Right away, Caroline proved her worth by finding all my vendors in my price range. I wondered if I'd be sacrificing some quality for price, but EVERYONE did such a beautiful, amazing job—and we came in under budget at the end of the day!

Caroline had a hand in the aesthetic from the start; I just told her I wanted "bright," and as you can see from the photos, from the multi-tiered florals to the custom linens she found to brighten the old ski lodge, the wedding deck floral placements and candlelit tablescapes, everything she designed turned out beautifully. Leading up to the day, we had scheduled phone calls that were delightful and straightforward. Letting Caroline organizing it all took so much off my plate and kept me sane, allowing me to enjoy the little things I took care of myself and know I wasn't forgetting an essential (or even non-essential) component.

Day of, she was totally on top of things; all the vendors and the venue organizers dealt directly with her and I was free to enjoy myself as the day unfolded perfectly around me. La Vie Adeux set up all the signage, guest book and gift tables, helped us through the marriage certificate signing, and even decorated the cake. After the ceremony Caroline handed us two glasses of white wine on ice and a special plate of appetizers. She ushered us through the day calmly and beautifully and made sure we were taking in every moment. I only learned that there had been any issues (locked out of the room, bar didn't open on time) after the fact, because Caroline handled them seamlessly. A few uncomfortable family moments were smoothed over or even totally avoided thanks to her expert handling. Everything I'd said I wanted on the day, Caroline was in the background making happen. My husband, parents, and I still laugh to each other: "did that really happen? Is it possible it really went THAT well?!"

I 100% recommend hiring Caroline as your event planner—her talent, creativity, composure, industry knowledge, budgeting ability, bright kindness, and easy sense of humor made her a pleasure to work with, and my wedding would not have been the absolute dream it was without her. Thank you, Caroline!

We honestly don’t know how to put into words how amazing Caroline is! From the first call we had with her we knew there wouldn’t be a detail that was missed. Our monthly check in calls with her made the whole planning process so enjoyable and took the stress out of it entirely. Leading up to the wedding she was so accessible and communicative, even with a newborn baby! When the weekend rolled around, she and her assistant were on every detail and made sure everything was exactly how we had discussed. Caroline is amazing. Before we hired La Vie Adeux, I was skeptical of the need to have a wedding coordinator, but looking back, I can't imagine how we could have pulled off our wedding without her. Caroline made the weeks leading up to our wedding so much easier, and made sure we had covered things we never would have even thought of. Caroline was so lovely to work with and made our wedding stress-free and beautiful! I had an intimate wedding that was a bit untraditional - no wedding party, had an intimate dinner with one long table, did an after party for the dancing portion etc. Caroline totally understood the vision and was happy to work with us. Other planners ghosted us and didn’t seem excited to work with a smaller wedding, but Caroline embraced it and had many great ideas. She was creative and helped my vision come to life. Caroline was so organized, always quick to respond to emails, and provided plenty of time for phone calls. She knows Vail well and had fanatic suggestions for other events throughout the weekend too. On the day of the wedding, Caroline and her team were efficient and organized. It rained a bit (just a summer shower) and I was determined to keep everything outside and she helped make that happen. She handled all of the personal items at the end of the night so that the bride/groom and family didn’t have to worry about a thing. We loved working with Caroline and HIGHLY recommend La Vie Adeux!

Caroline was the best thing that happened to my wedding. We used her month of services and my only regret is that I did not let her plan the whole thing! She was quick and thorough in her emails. She made sure every detail past all the details I could even think of went off perfectly day of. She was so friendly and easy to work with. For someone who is busy like me she was able to put in the time and effort where I wasn’t able to make my wedding 100% more beautiful and perfect than I could ever imagine.
