Tried to get an empty 120 gallon propane tank filled by Kitsap Propane to use with a generator. They told me to get a regulator put on it. I did so, paid $800 for a regulator and piping installed by Bishop Propane Services (Ron is an awesome provider!) When I called Kitsap Propane back to have the tank filled, they refused to come out, no explanation, no effort to see that the regulator had been installed as recommended, just refusal to provide service. I strongly recommend that you stay away from this company, very poor communication and very poor service!

I'm happy with the service I've recieved from Kitsap propane. They fixed my forklift's propane tank and stopped a leak in the valve. The team knew what they were doing and got the job done. They communicated well about what they were doing and the price was fair. I'd definitely recommend them for any propane tank work.

I swapped to Kitsap Propane after a horrendous experience with Amerigas, and they have been excellent to work with so far. Customer service is local and easy to reach, and deliveries are prompt and can be scheduled with a couple clicks on their website. Update: I am very happy with the regular service I have received from Kitsap Propane since they let my tank run empty and I think they are the best choice in Jefferson County, so despite my terrible experience running out of propane when I was on their regular route, I am upgrading my review from a 1 to a 3.
My original “1” review:
I am supposed to be on automatic refill, which I signed up for after getting assurances that if my tank ever ran out, they would refill it with 24 hours. Well, they let my tank go empty and when I called I told someone will get back to me Monday (today is Friday). When I asked about the 24 hour refill guarantee, I was told, “Oh, we stopped doing that a long time ago.”

I had struggles with this company previously, but recently new management took over. When a problem occurred the manager contacted me directly (on a holiday) to make sure I got put on the schedule asap. The driver followed up with me the next day and was very thoughtful. Both manager and driver made me feel cared for and resolved my problem with urgency. Hoping very much it stays this way with the new manager
