Our department had purchased Key Hose about a year ago. When it arrived it was so stiff and we were unable to set it in our crosslays. We were told to run water through it and it'll loosen up. After several days of running water we were only to fit three of four sections in the crosslay and had to use a section of older hose we had to complete the crosslay. After a year of use it is still so stiff and rigid it is impractical for use. After deploying the house the bends are still so stiff that it still kinks under pressure and it still doesn't fit in the crosslays. At our last structure fire the kinks were so bad the homeowner was helping us get the kinks out of the line as his house was burning down.... what an embarrassment. The hose is also tough to advance over anything other than a flat paved surface. You are out of luck if you have to drag it over gravel or thatch in a field when it's charged. The hose seems like it's good quality and built to last but it really needs to go back to the drawing board and make it more user friendly.
