Felt like I had to help offset some of these one star reviews! My family and I have been getting our wood from K&K since I was a kid. I think it's good to know going in that they may only have one truck and delivery driver. Think about how many people around here need wood, and how long it might take to get to some of these remote homes, delivery times are pretty much always going to take a while. My advice is to order a month or several weeks earlier than you think you need to and they should take care of you! This is also a company that being kind goes a lot further than being an upset jerk! Remember to tip your drivers. 🙂

I spoke with an extremely pleasant woman on the phone today and she took the time to hear about what I was specifically looking for. I am writing this review because I believe we all suffer from 'off' days and perhaps that is what others had experienced. if you're looking to have a flue fire this winter, this is the place to buy your firewood. wettest, unseasoned wood I've ever bought. I will never do business with them ever again as it just keeps getting worst every year and I've been buying from them for ten years.

On Aug. 1st my husband and I placed an order of tongue and groove wood. We were told that it would be done in 2 to 6 weeks, 8 weeks at the latest. After 6 weeks we called to see when the order would be ready, only answer we got was" I'll have him call you back" There was several calls just like this for weeks and never a straight answer. The comments from Mrs. K were "It's not my fault" and "Would you like to cancel your order". If they don't want your business WHY do they bother taking your order in the first place. Maybe because there both to busy playing with the grand baby to get any orders filled. After 104 days of waiting for this order we went and got are deposit back. Found someone else in Whitewater who filled our wood order in one day.

If I could give a negative five star I would. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. I mean extreme. I asked if they had carried a specific type of wood, and it went way down hill from there. I told her I gave them the benefit of the doubt even after reading the bad reviews on Google about customer service. She smarted off and hung up on me. Way to treat a locally known woodworking business that would have provided you with plenty of business. 30 second conversation ruined your company's reputation. Will not recommend to anyone.

May not be the friendliest but they serve their purpose.

We love this place but don't expect lowes or home depot. Its back to the 50s here.!!
It is a little disorganized 4 the first time customer . BE SURE TO STOP BY THE OFFICE FIRST.
