Lovely little store in New Market, VA.
Perused them in summer and left with arms full of fresh local produce. Told myself I’d go back. Re-visited today to shop specifically for stocking-stuffers for my boys (they’ve got loads of things for littles, mine are in their teens/twenties)… I was not disappointed!
I purchased some very cool socks, snacks, gloves, wild game jerkys, and hot sauce.
Warning: It’s a crowded space. Not a bad thing, but it’s kinda hard to make your way through. There were lots of shoppers today (this made me feel good, since the shop is full of small brands).
Parking is tricky.
Staff were present, friendly-ish at checkout.

What a fantastic place. Great deals. Super helpful people with amazingly positive attitudes. They love what they do and it shows. They keep expanding their offerings and treat us like their best friends. This is where I go to stock up, make big recipes, do bulk preserving, canning, and dehydrating.

This is a good place to visit. They have lots of fresh produce, milk, cheese, meats, gifts, toys, and other things to purchase. We bought a flat of strawberries and specialty teas.
The young lady who waited on us was super helpful in providing information about the store and town.
We will definitely stop by again.

Our whole family loves going to Jon Henry's for the vast array of products that they carry. I love the produce and meat deals, but the local products hold a close second in my heart. We always come out smiling from all of our amazing finds. It's worth the 75 minute drive every time.

This is a great store where you could get most of your common groceries as well as all kinds of specialty foods, gifts, crafts, and art. I especially liked the big selection of flour, cornmeal, grits, etc. We tried some of the fruit ciders and they were both great.

I had the best time exploring this wonderful general store. Every room was chock-full of interesting things to try. Games, socks, handwoven baskets from around the world, fresh fruits and vegetables, and interesting people most of whom were masked up and social distancing. I came away with two watermelons, organic pasta sauce, and two types of cheese and...Well I should admit I picked up a root beer too. The sugary drink hit the spot after walking around this wonderful little town. I could’ve opted for that naturally flavored seltzer water but somehow this fit the bill.
