I've been going to John's Repair a few years, and have liked it real well.

Now that his son Jonathon is taking over, I think it's staying just as good or even better. Another shop (Brakes Plus) told me I need new lower control arms on my Tundra at around $1200 & wouldn't align the truck - Jonathon & his crew took a look & tossed that diagnosis out the window.

So it looks like honesty remains high here. I'm approaching 70 & now regularly get bogus high-ticket repair work recommended on my vehicles - so John's is a blessing.

I highly recommend John's Repair in Strasburg.

I have been taking my vehicles to John’s for the past couple years for just routine oil changes. They are quick and convenient.

Just recently, I Ran into a huge dilemma with one of my trucks. I towed my camper to a campground a little over an hour from here had to come back home for something. When I parked my truck in the driveway, it dumped antifreeze. This was a Thursday at 4:15 PM. I called John’s immediately and asked if they can get me in for a water pump repair ASAP and told them my situation. He had me come drop the truck off and they had it fixed first thing Friday morning! The price was completely completely reasonable. I would’ve been stranded at the lake with my camper if it wasn’t for them!! I highly recommend this locally owned shop!

I had issues with my AC and the mechanic put Freon in it and told me to come back if there were any other issues. It worked for a week and then the air was hot. I called once a week for 3 weeks and left voicemails and no one returned my call. It's been a month since I called and I still have not received a call back. Poor customer service.

Johns has a family atmosphere and a sense of humor. After all the harassment it took jonathen 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and 30 minutes later I had 2 new batteries. And the cost was cheaper than walmart. Great shop and good people.

John's Repair is great! I had a 10:30 appointment for an engine diagnosis and an oil change. John’s daughter is the receptionist, and when I walked into the busy reception area, she greeted me and said “You must have the Dodge Ram for the 10:30 appointment” I was astounded. She had a comfortable rocker for me to sit at, and provided the restroom for me(very clean). The mechanic diagnosed a broken engine block heater and changed the oil. John’s daughter quickly got me my receipt and told me she would call me for an appointment when she receives the new part on order.

Just recently moved to Colorado and was on the hunt for a knowledgeable mechanic shop and I found it with Johns Repair! We had no idea what was wrong with the car and auto shops in Missouri weren't helpful, I brought my car in and they figured out the problem within 20 minutes of my car being there, and had it fixed the next day. And they made sure it was fixed before I picked it up so that way I wouldn't encounter any problems. Affordable and friendly expertise, and will be my go to recommendation!
