If you’re out of area, Issaquah Sewing and Vac is well worth the drive. My wife and I came in with a very old Pfaff sewing machine for possible repair. Scott from the repair shop happened to be in, and we’re sure glad he was! Scott not only knows machine features; he literally knows the machines inside and out. If you have mechanical or durability questions, he’s your guy.

Well, our 40+ year-old Pfaff was finally due for replacement, so Scott guided us though the many replacement options. We left to do some research and check prices. Then we messaged a few times with Scott via email, to which he was very responsive. Btw: I haven’t found that level of customer service at any other retailer.

With Scott’s product knowledge and technical expertise, our decision on a new machine was easy. And, with a little discussion, Scott gave us an excellent deal. My wife won’t be going anywhere else for her quilting and sewing needs, as well as for service and repair.

I've made many purchases at Issaquah Sew & Vac over the years. They've always been friendly and helpful. They're great at listening to what it is you want to do and then finding a machine to match. I appreciate their style - thorough, but not pushy. If you need time to go home and think it over, they're OK with that.
I feel a sense of community when I go there. Sometimes it can get really busy. I've grown to understand that the level of customer service that they provide means that I might need to wait a bit, or I'll leave to run other errands and come back when they're not so busy. It's worth the patience as I know that I'll get the same level of help when it's my turn.
They have lots of classes (hence the chicken picture! I attended an applique class there recently and loved it!)
They have a nice selection of precut fabrics, sewing notions, machine embroidery supplies and designs, and digital and die cut machines as well for some extra fun. 🙂
I highly recommend Issaquah Sew & Vac, a local, family owned business that's been here for decades.

Really great team working here. I had fun trying out their Long Arm and I think I'll be back to buy. Mo Carrie and Johnathan really helped answer all my questions. I'm looking forward to 1 on 1 instructions at my home, who does that? In so excited. This store is independent from the big guys and by far, worth your time if you're in the market for a new machine, service or notions. Speaking of which I think I'll go back just to walk the whole store and see all the specialty notions.

I bought a Riccar vacuum here about 15 years ago, it's been fantastic and they have parts in stock for the two minor repairs it's required in that time.

We moved a few years ago and the house was plumbed for central vac but not working. Jonathan helped a ton figuring out parts to get things working and helping me understand how it all worked (my stuff was old so not quite the same as modern installs).

So if you want quality vacuums that will last and great support, you can't go wrong here.

Wonderful customer service. So friendly! I only needed a small part and from calling to going in, all three people I spoke to were so sweet and happy to help. Now that I've see the thread options they sell though I will be a regular customer.

This is vibrant business and staff is helpful and cares about doing right services. They cleaned for free and explained my mom how to fix smaller issue she faced with her Sears brand sewing machine. I was willing to purchase a new one but lady who helped us recommend that it was not needed and help eradicate problems it had.

We thanked them by buying other supplies for mom's projects.

In past, we have bought and had them service our Central vaccume equipments and parts.

I am so happy that they exist and it's much useful and needed service. Thank you.

What a great store. The customer service is great and their vacuum knowledge is amazing. They helped get my vacuums working on two different occasions, each time in less than 10 minutes. I will definitely return.

Speaking for the vacuum half of the store. Great service and sales people. They are happy to answer questions and are very knowledgeable about their products. You can expect to pay high-end prices but they sell high-end products and the in-store extended warranty gives you discounts on parts and accessories. I will continue to shop here for as long as I can.
