Me and my partner did a junk removal for the complex and Donte and Holly were very informative and easy to work with. They are great people and easy going. Thank you both for making our jobs easy and convenient.

Don't rent or buy here. There is always ongoing drilling and construction noise occurring every other week. Water gets shut off randomly for the whole month once a week. Boiler just all of a sudden dies and there is no hot water. Place is a nightmare.
UPDATE: now drillings happen on Saturday mornings. Which somehow management gets approved and they don't give a shit about the residents who are living in the building being woken up to the drilling.
No prior notice to water being shut off and electricity randomly goes out.

Donte has been incredibly knowledgeable, addressing all my questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. Additionally, Issa Ballo at the front desk was welcoming and helpful, ensuring I had the guidance I needed.

The property itself is impressive, and it’s evident that both the staff and board are committed to maintaining a high standard of living for residents. While I did notice some construction noise, I was informed that improvement projects are underway, which reassures me that the property is continuously being enhanced. I’m excited about the prospect of moving in!

I love living at Idylwood Condominium. Idylwood has been making a lot of improvements to make our home attractive. Also, I’m very grateful for the front and back office staff members. They are always helpful and super friendly.

I have lived here for 18 months now, and I love it.

First, the location is amazing, with great shops within walking distance, public transport right outside the door, and easy driving access to both 66 and 495.

Second, the amenities are wonderful, especially the big pool in summer, with tons of loungers, and 8 gas grills for residents' use. The gym is good, the machines work and there is a range of equipment. The tennis courts are well maintained. Overall, the grounds are fabulous - I love all the trees and the range of bushes and flowers.

Third, the staff are really good. Before I moved in, I had seen some poor reviews, and I think the previous manager wasn't effective. But the current team is great, very responsive and pleasant.

Unlike another reviewer, I've never had water cut off without notice - there has always been 1-2 days warning. This is not an apartment building but a condo building, and that's what happens - people get work done on their unit and water is impacted. I've not had issues with mold or pests or noise.

I love the 24 hour front desk - no more stolen Amazon packages.

It does look a little old - the foyer is being redone and that will help a lot! But overall, it's a convenient, safe, and pleasant place to live. And the views are amazing.

I loved living here - was here for three years and left in 2020. The rent included utilities and was a really great price for being close to Tysons Corner, 495 and Arlington (it was congested, biggest negative of this location). Even though it definitely looks and feels a bit dated, the walls were thick and I barely ever heard my neighbors. I never had many maintenance problems nor saw any bugs though I was higher up. I loved having the package concierge service so I could easily drop off packages at the front desk. Plenty of parking and free to guests.

I have lived hear for some 16 years. Never has the service been as bad as it currently is. Currently the exhaust fan in my bathroom is EXCESSIVELY noisy. I have cleaned it out but it is still noisy. When mentioned at the front desk I was told I had to get an outside service to repair it. THIS IS AN INTERNAL BUILDING PROBLEM! A CONDO FEE IS PAID EACH MONTH FOR, "NOW BASIC," SERVICES, MOST OF WHICH ARE NOT PREFORMED. It is really hard to comprehend how the service has consistently decreased while the fee has always managed to increase.

I think that was once an excellent building and management company, as far as I am concerned they now rate a "D." What a disgrace!
