This was the worst experience I've had with a company working on our house.

On install day the installer arrived over 1 hour late blaming traffic (that looked average on google maps). He installed the break beam sensor 3 feet off the ground. I said it was too high and he said it was fine and to not worry about it. I showed him the manual where it should be no more than 6” off the ground and he begrudgingly agreed to move them down. When he fixed it he cut the line rather than running a continuous line to the garage door opener causing a failure point. He did not install the belt shield on top of the opener leaving a major risk of objects getting caught. He LEFT THE OLD GARAGE DOOR OPENERS. Did not install the battery backups and dented one of the openers when mounting. He blamed me for wasting his time when asking to install things properly.

Other minor things that were done poorly:
- Said it would take 1 hour, but took closer to 3
- Installed bracket at an angle when it should have been straight (blaming the “bent wood”, I fixed it just fine after he left)
- Did not install light bulbs in the openers
- Did not replace the old break beam sensor with a new one

Do not hire this company.

IDoor Garage is awesome. I called and he was able to get over right away to make enough of a fix to close our door for the night to keep the house secure.. came back right away to finish the job. He was conscious of budget and did a great job fixing my screw-up (busted up/bent rail).. Took the time to explain what he was doing as well. Super thankful.

Some serious concerns with this outfit, I am not even sure you can call this a legit business. From what I can gather the phone line just transfers to a person who then sends an individual sub-contractor out. Their phone number changed since last week as well. They told me the person would give me a free estimate. When they showed up he told me $275. He then proceeded to upsell and try to charge me $1800 for a spring replacement, constantly trying to upsell me. Worked the price down to something more reasonable and he started the work. In the process, he hung the new spring on a different location, put everything back together and when testing the door it blew off the wall, damaged drywall and bent the rod. He then put everything back together in another location and pushed back on fixing the bent rod, after several conversations with someone that clearly wasn't a legit business front, he told he would do that. 3 calls now and nobody has returned my phone calls, not the guy or the business. This is not a legitimate operation! Stay away!

[unhonest][over-priced]the guy named Ron come to my home. Gave me over-charging price. He told me he will charged me 600 dollar to replace my single spring. and 400+ for fix my L-shape arm because he said he need to drill a new hole for the arm and adjust the motor. I already feel he over charge me a lot. so I ask him to replace my spring and don't drill new holes for the arm just put it in the original position. we agreed 600 for everything. then he start his job. after that he said he will charge me extra $100 for just put my arm on original place. I deeply feel this guy is unhonest. He try to play with me. also changed his wanranty year orally multiple time. He first said 4 years. then told me 5 years. I search history review, some people got 7 years.

John did a fantastic job in fixing the broken torsion spring on our 2-car garage door. I was mostly impressed by how responsive he was:

Saturday afternoon: spring broke
Saturday evening: I sent a message to him for a quote
20 min later: he called me back
Sunday morning: he showed up on time at 8am
30 min later: door fixed, lubricated

I cannot think of a faster response with quality work! The responsiveness really wins customers. I think that explained all the 5.0 star reviews!

Update: 2 months later we found two bent pulleys. I was in meetings and couldn't greet John in person. He came over, replaced the pulleys with brand new ones and didn't even charge us! Can't say any less about his excellent work and commitment!👍

Scammers. Note that the phone number on this maps listing is different from the number on the website.

I called and got scheduled for the next day, and a guy did come out and replace my garage door opener. But, despite a detailed conversation about 1/2hp vs 3/4hp models, in which I chose the more powerful model and double-verified this before he started, he installed the lower power model and charged a huge amount. I discovered this soon after he left, and when I called and texted he claimed that it “is equivalent” to 3/4hp because of “two battery backups” which is a load.

Now of course I can’t get any response from the main number or the individual contractor. Stay away.

Has anyone been able to reach this business in the recent past? They did a job for us that cost thousands of dollars on our gate a few months ago. The gate is back to its original broken state. I have been trying to reach John via text, but to no avail. Phone call on the listed number "is not accepting calls". I am not sure if I should wait any longer and post the photos of the job so people are aware of this business. At this point, based on my experience, I would caution people to look elsewhere. If John does respond and resolve the issue, I will update here. But, I am not very optimistic.
