Hot Stuff is hands down the best fireplace contractor in Steamboat. Excellent selection and great follow through. They provided and installed an amazing outdoor fireplace for us that we use most nights. Phil made a great recommendation for the unit we purchased and kept us informed throughout the process. He’s even come by for drinks after it was installed. Highly recommend.

We had been using our Lopi wood stove insert for 38 years with no problems.
Hot stuff recommends they install 6 in metal flue on the stove with 8 in flu for $700 dollars.
The flue is solid missionary.

WOW! We purchased custom fireplace doors and surround to control heat loss on our GlenEden/Steamboat townhouse fireplace and it looks so good! Best part was the amazing customer service we received from Hot Suff. This was a custom order so there was lots to figure out. The awesome staff stayed with us the full time and made sure it was done right. We were so pleased with the service that on the final visit when the tech mentioned he could also come out and clean our chimney we not only said yes but are working at them doing the full resort. Thank you again Hot Stuff!

No work was done on our unit. No one showed up for our scheduled appointment. And you will not return my emails or phone calls, Jeff.

I called to get a quote on a new gas stove/fireplace, after another company said my unit needed replaced. After coming out for a quote, Jeff suggested I try fixing it instead, and sent out a tech the next day to swap out a part. The fix worked. His honesty and prompt service were fantastic and saved me a significant expense. Everyone at the shop is great, and the variety of options in the showroom were fantastic. I'll definitely be going here when i *actually* need to replace my current unit. Cannot recommend enough, by far the best option in town.
