We stopped at this place on our way home from a long vacation VT and we're pleasantly surprised. The grounds were very well manicured and taken care of. Absolutely great beer and the band added to the atmosphere. Loved the variety of craft beers. The food truck food was also very good. This place is also very family friendly and allows you to bring in your own snacks or food. Will definitely come back even though it's an hour away.

Hops on the Hill is a scenic and relaxing farm brewery that's actually on a farm. Their beers are brewed with ingredients obtained from their own farm and surrounding farms. The brewery and its outdoor space is large enough to host several large groups, but you may want to BYOChair; we can imagine this place gets busy!

We were fans of their Mel Mel stout. At 5.8% it might be a little dark and heavy for a super hot afternoon, but it makes a perfect sunset beer for last call on the farm.

I can't believe, as a Glastonbury native, it took me until late this summer to get here. Now it's on my "regular destination" list thanks to the beautiful setting, the atmosphere with live music and food trucks, and the excellent selection of quality beers. What a great "hang" place. And if you're a bicyclist like me, a perfect spot for ending your ride.

I have nothing but great things to say. After trying to get to Lyman Orchards to their sunflower field for our engagement pictures we had nothing but a nightmare. Dragging two kids and our photographer we thought the day was lost but my fiancé remembered there were sunflowers at Hop on the Hill so we made our way there with hopes of squeezing in a few pictures before you guys closed. Our photographer spoke to the owner who said we could absolutely take pictures there and we even were able to stay until 6:30 even though they closed at 6. I am beyond thankful for the hospitality and I can’t wait to share the finished pictures, I’ll be forever grateful for turning a horrible afternoon into one I’ll never forget! Then sunflowers were beautiful as well as the grounds and the best part- the awesome beer.

This is more than 3 years in Connecticut and never heard about this place but finally got a chance to visit this place. This brewery is having very big open space and having their tent and chairs but hey you can bring your own chairs or mats also (kind of quick picnic). Their IPAs are good ( I liked CT IPA). Would like to come this place often. Also, every Thursday they have “Cruise on the Farm” so you can see loads of vintage cars.

We have been to numerous vineyards and breweries and none of them make us feel as welcome as yours does. The property is exquisite and it draws such a nice group of people and their pups! Hops on the Hill is our absolute favorite! I tell everyone about it.
