My regular butcher stopped processing wild game to do a beef run and their cooler was full. I called everywhere and finally found Home Meats. They were an hours drive and more expensive than my regular guy but i was in a bind.

I ordered the best steaks, cube steaks and 40 pounds of summer sausage. The butchers did a fantastic job. The steaks were perfect and it was all professionally packaged. It took almost 3 months to get the summer sausage back and i balked a bit at the price Everything is more expensive these days. As soon as I got home I opened a roll to try it. It is the best venison summer sausage I have ever tasted. It is rich, and smokey, and has a perfect balance of seasonings. Home Meats will now be my regular place if they are available. I feel fortunate to discover such quality.

Love it here. They have fresh dog food and amazing meat products. I've liked this place since I was a kid. You can't go wrong when purchasing from this company .

I keep returning for the smoked cheese! The pepperoni, jerky, & beef sticks are also delicious. I have had pigs that were processed/cut/packaged there and was extremely satisfied. Also they have always been generous with the local community giving donations to auctions held by local non profits.

We spent the night at Little Creek Casino and decided to go to Home Meat Service on the way out. They have butchered meat of course, but we purchased some meat sticks and jerky. Omg... The teriyaki flavor jerky is tender and so delicious! The meat sticks were fantastic as well! Next time we're in town, we'll be back. I can't wait to try the smoked salmon on bagels tomorrow. I'm so excited!

Home meat service is the best butcher shop around. Everyone is always SO kind and helpful, each time I visit I have such a great experience. And of course their meat is always top tier, the honey jerky is to die for! Will definitely be a lifetime customer.

Unimpressed with their choice of cutting for the "classic cuts". It's listed as brisket and stew meat. Come to find out they cut up my brisket for stew meat and just left me the tip, at a size as big as my hamburger packages, the most uneven section and almost pointless to try and smoke.

Specifically requested that I keep the trim and suet. Got enough to fill about a 2 gallon bag. Same for dog bones. I typically get about twice as much or more of both when buying a quarter of a cow from my normal butcher. This was off a half a cow.

Admittedly it was a small cow, and there is going to be small cuts from that and less to go around. But damn. I will be skipping purchases from there going forward.

I have used Home Meat Service processing for years on both cattle and hogs. From unloading animals to loading finished products, they do an amazing job!
Thanks for doing what you do and being exceptional at it!
Just remember not to park your dang stock trailer on the asphalt, hahaha!

Awesome business! Our archery shop, O'Connell Archery, highly recommended Home Meat Service to us to process our wild hog. We just picked up 150 lbs of chops, belly, ground sausage and fat. Everything was packaged and labeled superbly as well as with great care. Prices are more than reasonable, too!

All the staff here are nice, down-to-earth, and helpful. The facility and retail space are extremely clean. We strongly recommend Home Meat Service!
