We have used Hilltown Pork throughout the years, giving them a second, third, and forth chance, until the last order came in. We found it interesting that a 1500 lb cow came back to us in only 6 boxes. After talking to other farms, they have experienced "light loads" as well, with other animals. Not sure what is happening and no one is ever held accountable. We've also been delivered boxes soaked in blood after the help stored the boxes under bloody carcasses. After giving this company the benefit of the doubt so many times, we're taking our business elsewhere.

Look. It's a slaughterhouse. It isn't nice. But it gets the job done. It may be unpleasant but it serves a very important function. It's much better than the large factory farm facilities of major Midwestern meat farms.
