It was fun. Never been, it's in my boyfriend's home town in Connecticut. We watch the dogs and bicycle tricksters. We also stayed to watch the demolition derby. Best part other than the food. Rides aren't our thing but still love the lights.

My first time at a fair and I can say that I loved the experience, I would repeat it again, many food, variety, game, distant way to distract you, especially the children, it was an experience that I would return

My girlfriend and I tried 3 different foods and 2 different deserts and everything was bad at best.

Seems like every vendor chose the absolutely cheapest ingredients and assembled them as quickly as possible.

I would gladly have paid more for better quality food.

The seals were cool that was the highlight.

Ok. The fair itself was nice. Nothing much to say. Expensive food, big crowds. But what was the deal with parking? We pulled out of handicapped parking to leave and we're stuck for 90 minutes. That us not an exaggeration!! We didn't even get onto Hebron Ave until 11:15. We left the fair at 9:30!!!
Not one single person directing traffic anywhere within the grounds!! This may be our last year if they can't fix this gross lack of planning for safely exiting the fair. I honestly am surprised there weren't rage incidents as people were cutting across the parking lot diagonally cutting off those that had been waiting for an hour already. Absolutely unforgivable situation!!

Best local fair. However, as with any fair, be prepared to spend a fair bit of 💰.

Some price examples include: parking $8, "large" lemonade (size being similar to a mcdonalds medium) $10, slice of cheese pizza $4.

The real star of the show is Peachy's donuts. These are quite possibly the best donuts I've ever had in my life. For glazed, It is 3 for $12 (or $5 each - trust me youll want more than 1) but it's completely worth it considering it's a once a year treat.

Overall, you will end up spending considerable money on the amenities but the shows, included with admission, are also terrific. Pig races, dog jumping, tractor pulls, petting farms, etc.
