The town is filthy. I have e-mailed asking about the clean-up policy. I received no response. I submitted a request to Seeclickfix. The area remained uncleaned. I wound up doing it myself.
I have emailed about open positions on a town board. I received no response. As far as I am concerned, these people should not be in government work if they refuse to look after matters that interest us all like the cleanliness of public spaces.

So on the 4th of November I stop by the tax office for info on voting..so I was sent to the 3floor by the town clerk which took me to the mayor's office..on arriving at the office the secretary beckon me in and I proceeded to ask him if I will need a driver's license or a us passport to vote.. ( my NYC driver's license was not changed over to Connecticut).. He said I will not be able to vote in the state of CT because I don't have a CT license 😕 but I have being living in CT for the past 4yrs ..And an American citizen for the past 14 yrs.so I ask him what was more important he said state ID. I couldn't believe it... You don't need citizenship just a state ID.. To vote.. So I went to another office told them what I was told they were shocked 😲 with that info ... so they told me all I need is a piece of mail and my passport 🙃 and I should be good.... This is the info the very fake info coming form the mayor's office in Hamden ct 😑 😒 it's shameful 😒...

I love paying so much taxes! It’s like my favorite thing! Especially since Hamden is historically one of the worst financially responsible cities in CT! They have one of the highest debts per capita in the nation!

The nastiest people I’ve ever dealt with work at this place. No customer service at all, you go in with a simple question and they give you a disgusting attitude. They should all be fired and replaced.
