Halifax Homes was to install our modular in 3/4 months- it took over a year.
They installed the heat pump, which malfunctioned when trying to install it. It then failed when painting the interior, then it stopped cooling and it needed a new coil.
The ceiling in three spots had water stains. They were painted over 2/3 times to cover the stain.
The roof was damaged while pulling it down our road- “don’t worry- we will make it right”. They came out on three occasions.
Now, warranty runs out March 22 of this year- water is running down the wall in the kitchen/ dining area , water is running down two walls in the master bedroom, on the deck under the porch- wood is popping, caulking is splitting while they sit on it. They sent some man out here that walked over the roof, spotted 8 areas where he saw leaks, put a little silicon here and there, slapped a shingle where one blew off that has laid in mud for the whole time- the water damage we know is going to cause dangerous mold….THEY ARE TRYING TO LET THE WARRANTY RUN OUT!!

Great quality homes, with very reasonable prices. The paperwork documentation is quite a process, But in the end it’s worth it. Just wanna thank the whole team at Halifax Homes for an excellent experience, and give Richard Puckett a 👏standing Novation👏.
