Prices are relatively competitive for the area, considering the only local competition is a SUPERDOLLAR (FOOD CITY) and preferable if you're only picking up a few items as opposed to spending the fuel to drive to either Walmart supercenter both directions about 25 minutes, either Jonesville, VA or Middlesboro, KY. The staff is most always friendly and the longtime owner Don works almost daily and is also friendly and helpful when asked or spoken with, nice hometown grocery store.

The store has a friendly staff selection is what you'd expect from a small IGA. It does feel very dated. When you walk through the door it feels like you've time traveled back to the early 80's
