ZERO STARS! Unprofessional or RACIST? Or both? Regional sales rep out of Drakes Branch went to Fluvanna County.
Tenant owner had him come to property and tenant explained to me how many excuses this man gave about why he couldn't do this and that to install a 17x9x20- smallest sized infrared wall mount gas heater. They're not incompetent at all. Really finding out that many of these big named companies that service rural areas
seem to discriminate, discriminate against certain homeowners and discriminate against property owners of older homes that don't fit their "cookie cutter" style and appearances. My tenant and I gladly found a independent GC to do a small simple job without the big talk and no hassle. Tenant is a older guy with health issues and said to me that this rep was just racist. He said he wouldn't even shake his hand. I understand contact precautions but its way past covid. Handshakes also solidifies business dealings. Older homes are better made- sits on a full concrete basement- than the cookie cutters and this one is currently under slow renovation so tenant can stay in the property. This country is going to hell in a handbasket because of society ills. So the hell with you Foster Fuels. THIS property is free and clear and there will be many more and CERTAINLY WILL NOT have FOSTER FUELS EVER TOUCH the newer homes because the old one wasn't to their standards and they're supposed to be a BUSINESS to service the public needs, especially for the elderly during coldest seasons. Shame on YOU.

Foster's was so incompetent with our propane install I hope it is safe! Each member of the Foster's team told us one thing and did another- it was like they each worked for different companies. The estimator came and gave us a price, we agreed. The tank install guy came and buried the tank but dug the lines to random places in the yard that made no sense. The last guy who installed the lines was a victim really but his work was ugly and not what we signed up for. THEN they wanted to charge us an extra $1500 for shotty unplanned work! After complaining, the estimator (Joel) agreed that they had messed up. Bill Moss (Sales) called and said they would make it right and we agreed on a fair price. Bill and his team came BACK out a 4th time and made the changes, left me with the siding repair then Bill went back and charged me $450 more than we agreed! I attempted numerous times to contact him over the phone and via email and he ignored my attempts. The billing dept. at Foster's kept charging finance charges and late fees and I had to pay so it wasn't sent for collection as a mark on my credit. I encourage everyone to consider any other company due to their lack of communication, quality of install and deceitful agreements/accounting practices that hurt their customers.

Foster Fuels in Lovingston really deserves praise for a number of reasons. Their service is amazing, and the staff is efficient and friendly. My fist experience with them was three years ago when I bought a cabin with an old propane fireplace. Foster Fuels came out, installed a new propane tank, cleaned the unit, and taught me how to use it safely.Their automatic propane refill service is also topnotch. This high quality service continued over the past couple of weeks as they helped me select a new Buck stove to replace the old 'dinosaur' stove. They gave me a fair price and did a great job installing the new much more modern stove. I appreciate their efforts, and professionalism.

I am very grateful to Foster Fuels, Inc. (Lovingston, VA) in providing propane to keep my home warm in the cooler/cold temperature days. The technicians are knowledgeable, respectful, and trained in installing lines and heaters in residences. The office staff are helpful and efficient with billing, delivery tickets, and aiding with prepayments by their customers. The drivers are helpful, respectful and accommodating in delivering fuel to your home. An honest business that I am blessed in having an account-business relationship with.

I purchased new logs from Foster Fuels and they were installed January 25 2022. From day one they emitted a string propane smell. I called and was told this is normal for the first couple of weeks since they are new. The smell became worse as time went on.
Finally Fosters sent a technician. He said they should not smell this strongly. He did not locate a leak but felt something in a valve was malfunctioning. He said he would need to return the following day with a meter.
He arrived the next day, took the logs apart and now they bo longer emit this order but the back burner will not light.
I received a bill for the service call.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOSTER FUEL!! They do not stand behind their products!

Service and customer service is always excellent! Deliveries area always made very quickly. This year the price per gallon is a bit on the higher side.

Our heater fell off the wall because it wasn't mounted right the little plastic Wings didn't open and they fell out so it fell out now they came back to put it back on the wall charged $100 service fee and left 3 holes in the wall where it used to be.. Terrible experience I wouldn't recommend them.. cost us $100 because of the first-person couldn't mount it properly and they hold no responsibility to the damages be glad post pictures if it would let me
