I wish I could give this place -5 stars. In my trucking career, I’ve never experienced such a terrible waiting situation. My appointment was at 12 PM, and I arrived early at 8 AM. They told me the load wasn’t ready and asked me to wait. It’s now been 10 hours, and they’re saying I’ll have to wait another 6 hours! Seriously?

On top of that, there’s no proper washroom for drivers and no other facilities. If your broker or company assigns you a load here, make sure to ask if the load is actually ready. Otherwise, even if you’re on time, they’ll waste your time like this. Keep this in mind before coming to this place!

Not the ideal place to load if you thinks it’s just gonna be a couple of hours. You have to drop trailer 10-13 hours prior to your appointment. Must bring reefer full of fuel or you’ll be rejected. Owner operator please please negotiate and add your detention in advance to the rate before signing rate con. Rude people to deal with. Looks like no one has a clue what they’re doing. Super unorganized. This place doesn’t care about the drivers nor value appointments time. Was scheduled to bring reefer at 10am 6-24-23 with a 1 am loading appointment 6-25-23 01:15 am still not backed in door to get loaded. So please once again carriers let’s not book these loads cheap always bid high. Y’all stay safe.

Hubby took a job here after a lot of sugar coated fair tales. Being over the road, the lure of "home time" is so appealing. We met the person as we stayed in the same RV park and he saw we drove over the road. His promises were home every night(true) only after extremely long days, all the overtime you could work(false), good benefits(true) most drivers make more than he did(false). When hired on he had to drive for the hatchery because they were short drivers. He failed to mention overtime was seniority based, so if no one above you took it, then you could have some. We took a huge pay cut, something we weren't prepared for. The stories of the hatchery workers and the pay or lack of pay they get is ridiculous. It sure makes one rethink chicken and what they do to hatch and get them to the store in less than 2 months. Hubby lasted about a month, then once he decided to leave, the person that hired him told him he would be coming over to the plant and driving. Taking this job was the best and worst mistake ever. It got us to where we are now and found a company that actually delivers on the home time, paycheck, over time and time off we were seeking. Always remember, If it sounds too good to be true, then it is!

Advice to Management

Stop treating your employees like they are disposable. Get modern and help employees balance their work and home lives. Quit with the B. S. Required overtime and only have it when it's really important. And offer some offset points for overtime against your ruthless infraction point system.
