Spent one Sunday morning as I was passing through Forks, with a prepared heart and mind to worship.
Very welcoming and nice congregation.
The worship music was slow and unhappy sounding, not upbeat or at all enthusiastic. Blank looks on their faces. Did not recognize one song. Very unusual.
Message was ok but sounded very rehearsed and no TRUE emotion or passion. The last 15 minutes the pastor lost me. He invited the band back on stage while he said he was "winding up" the message. For 15 minutes he continued speaking as the band played far to LOUDLY the same 12 notes over and over and over and over for 15 long cruel minutes. I was left feeling annoyed by it, even angry. The pastor seemed unable to stop talking. It was BAD.

I came there excited to worship. And I was actually unable. The music lacked ANY kind of emotion or passion which matched the message. I never felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. In total honesty it felt like I had aottended a service where people were PLAYING CHURCH.
It felt dead and emotionless. And I say this as in comparing the experience to my MANY otther experiences I have had while visiting different churches in my travels as a full time rv'r.

The people are friendly and welcoming. The worship music is awesome. The message from the pulpit preaches from the Word of God and is spirit filled. If you are looking for a church that has programs for children through to adults, you will not be disappointed. This church will help you grow closer to the Lord and plant your feet firmly in the Word of God. Your spirit will be nourished and you will be totally blessed. I recommend this church to draw you closer in your walk and closer to people who love the Lord.
