We found Foothills Wild Game by providence coming out of the mountains with an elk and no one else available. The meat was exceptionally well cared for, processed, frozen, and packaged. The flavor is outstanding in the brats and snack sticks, especially the Voodoo Cheddar. Next time we are making a reservation before heading up the mountain and Nick is our go to guy.

Nick did an amazing job on my elk, and the dry aging process made all the cuts incredibly tender. Highly recommend the cherry jack snack sticks. Nick’s attention to detail and quality is unmatched. Everything came back professionally vacuum sealed. Highly recommend—5 stars all the way!

Thank you for such an amazing job, you guys are the best! Your care and attention to each animal shows, each steak cut and butterflied to make it wonderful to cook with. The way you package the burger in flat squares to fit nicely in the freezer and then quickly thaws out. I love that you don’t mix the meat, the flavor shows in both the deer and the elk you processed for us. Thank you for blessing our family with your great work!

Had them do my elk and they did an incredible job. He dry aged and everything came out tender and awesome. The packaging of each cut was well sealed and nice portion sizes. Drop off was accommodating for after hours and communication was clear through the whole process.

Nick runs a great shop. Got my bear processed into bratwurst, and couldn't be happier. The voodoo cheddar were great and a big hit with everyone who tried them. If you have wild game to process, go to Foothills Wild Game.

To add to this, we tried the ballpark brats and they were equally delicious. If you have bear meat and are skeptical about the taste, take it here and you won't be disappointed with the final product

Harvested a late afternoon Deer and Nick graciously accepted an evening drop off. Suggestions for processing were right on and very tasty! The cleanest and best packaging I’ve seen. Great job, will be back and spread the word!
