Fabulous church. They have always made me feel like part of a family. I love the welcoming of the people, their service to the community, their service to the members, God's message that comes through Pastor Matt and other staff members. Our Bible study class is the absolute best with Miss Karen leading and teaching it. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I was raised as a Baptist. My daddy was a preacher and preached at several small Baptist Churches in the Wetumpka area.

I enjoyed the small church atmosphere. When I recently moved back to Wetumpka, my first visit was to the First United Methodist Church of Wetumpka. All the people were great and welcoming.

Even though, I would not say FUMC is small, it has the small church attitude. Friendly people, and a great Minister, Matt Albritton. I was impressed with his friendly, down to earth personality. If he ever meets you once, don't be surprised if the next time he sees you he will call you by name!

Drove to wetumpka so my mom could show me the places where she lived, went to school & got married. This is the church she went to & married my father at over 50 years ago. Its absolutely a beautiful church & the grounds are kept in prestige condition.
