I called to ask for help with food. I have been out work because of having both hips and knees replaced with last 12 mths. I have been told i have MS also. So with bills and medicine I have to 26 pills a day plus infusion every 28 days money is very tight. I got my disability but first check in January. Anyway I ask for help and was giving the third degree. I told the lady it was only take about 10 min for me to get there. Her reply Ohhh I am sure take longer. Well my husband drives it everyday. Then ask me why can't the adults work told her again I couldn't and husband was...one son in school and other looking for work.
She went on to ask why couldn't we afford food. At this point I was done with the BELITTING I GOT FROM HER. I wouldn't ask for help if not needed. So I told her she's suppose to be a Christian...wow surprised me. I told her keep the food. I found another church that was very nice and concerned about my situation.
