I was nervous going to church as I did not have good past experiences. But this church has been so welcoming. New people walk up to you pretty well every week and introduce themselves. Their women's small group is filled with lovely women and their events are just as welcoming. I am grateful to have this amazing experience and a church that is the perfect church for imperfect people 💞 I definitely recommend

I have lived in many different places throughout my life and have never truly found a church family that embraced me. When my husband and I moved here last December, we tried out a few churches within Lynden and immediately knew that FCC would be the place we call our home church. What I did not expect was how immediately welcoming they were to include us in their church family. By the second week of attendance, we were involved in the young adults ministry, avid equipping hour attendees, and building community faster than we ever had at a church.

While the community was a major reason we chose FCC, the most foundational basis was that we knew that we could trust the messages being preached. Pastor Shawn mainly follows expository preaching and always includes historical and literary context when interpreting and applying passages.

I just wanted to get on here and say how truly blessed our family has been in Faith Community Church. We’ve been coming here for almost 4 years now and are so grateful to the Lord for how He has been working on all of our hearts. Since we’ve started coming, my husband and I have adopted 2 children. They both have asked to be baptized and literally talk about what Pastor Shawn teaches about the Bible all the time. The Women’s retreat and Bible study have been amazing for me and my husband has enjoyed the men’s breakfast as well as the last two men’s retreats that have happened.
Over all, we’re thankful for our Church family and praise the Lord for how He has been working in this place.

We are so thankful to call FCC our home church! Pastor Shawn has a true heart to not only preach faithfully from the Bible each week but to genuinely know and invest in people. We leave each week encouraged and challenged by his preaching. We love the youth programs, children's programs (AWANA!), men's and women's ministry events, and the family-centered events. This has truly become our extended family and we are so grateful for all the joy-filled, authentic people we have grown to love at this church.

We love so many things about FCC. Very welcoming. Great Biblical teaching. No fluff! Nice people who really care. The Kids' program, Youth and Young Adults programs are 2nd to none. The campus is huge and well utilized. They avoid debt which is refreshing.
