I went to renew my driver's license and get my Star ID. I got there at 9:50 a.m. and pulled #10. Having called before hand, I made sure I had all the necessary documents needed for the Star ID (I took my passport, my property tax notice, my SS information, and another bill with my name and current address just for good measure). I was finished and out of there by 10:38 a.m. Kudos to the clerk (I really wish I had gotten her name) for a pleasant and easy experience!

No one cares to help in this place. You are treated worst than an animal. They close before 4:30pm, the representative that closed the doors outside makes sure that you won’t get in past 4:10 so if you want to get here make sure you get here before 4pm because they will close early, if they feel like it just to make sure they go home before 4:30pm. The sign on the door means nothing, the people that helps you on the phone say 4:30pm but that is simply not true. Not one lifted a hand to help you. Jana the person that answers the phone will tell you that she can’t do anything for you. So good luck when you come here!

Was at the courthouse at 9:30am for drivers test. Another car arrived 45min after me and I he had to wait to take the test until after them. Why? Makes no sense. Also— the sign says one form of identification, my brother had two, and the man said he also needed a birth certificate but did not let us know the day before when we initially came in. All we got was a bleak “sorry”. 0/10 recommendation for Wetumpka’s DMV department.

The 2 little security guards at the door are very very rude I was taking letter to circuit clerk and they acted like I was a terrorists.... Really I a 57 year old overweight lady,. Oh well I'm glad they are so proud of their security guard jobs.

Nice folks just some parts busy but always been that way. It is better than in the 60s as there would be a line for car tags all way round the courthouse.
