Definitely a Hidden gem. We stopped by for a cookie, not realizing they served food. Food was hot and delicious, cookies were huge and better than my mom's...lol. if you are close by then you better stop by for at least a cookie. I got the Clendenin Monster Burger.

Decided to take a break from I-79 drove a short distance to Clendenin in search of Elk River Baking Company. We were looking for a bakery treat and walked away with a slice of blueberry sour cream pie, sea salt chocolate chip cookie and a sugar cookie along with an iced tea. All baked goods were scrumptious and fresh. The lady at the counter was helpful and friendly. We will dine in next time and take in a brew a few doors down at the local brewery. Cheering for you all as you have a great place!

I happened to be dining next door when the proprietor came over with a gift for our waitress. It was a peach cobbler with sweet cream cheese in a waffle cone! Needless to say, we went next door after dinner, and WOW! There was a case showcasing big cookies, cream puffs, fudges and other delicious looking treats. Another section showed whole cakes and pies for sale, and a small table offered local honey. A short talk with the owner and a few minutes trying to decide what to try saw us leaving with a nice variety of the wares offered.
The Peach Cobbler was insanely good, as was the cream puff. Next time I'll try those big cookies!

Excellent food and service! I went for meatloaf Monday and unfortunately they were sold out. Instead, I got the Pork Loin, Brussel Sprouts and a salad. The food was well prepared and a great price for the quality.

Exceptional service and great cookies too! I wanted to send a couple dozen cookies to my daughter to celebrate her at her place of work. Cindy offered a great choice of salted chocolate chip (and 1/2 unsalted) got them delivered to her work and even included a card. My daughter said they tasted great. Cant wait to visit Elk River Baking Company soon.

We had the best scratch made biscuits we’ve eaten in years . And if you ever see a blackberry turnover on their menu - buy them all!! So yummy! Love this place !

Love Debbie and all the girls working there! They serve delicious comfort food and baked goods. It can take a while to make but the food is made to order (not pre-made) and well worth the wait!! So excited for her icecream parlor to open 😀
