We have a typical North Virginia 1950s federalist rambler that doesn’t have much built in storage.

To ameliorate this storage problem, we hired Econize to design and build a built-in wardrobe along one wall of our bedroom. It looks fantastic and has tripled our overall bedroom storage!

We also had Econize install a built-in desk and bookshelves in our guest room, and these also look very professional and are purpose-built to suit our requirements.

We are very pleased with the finished craftsmanship—and all the more so because the Econize team made this process very easy.

Our friendly designer Anthony sat with us the day of our consult to whip up a design on the spot, and he updated the design live based on our feedback, offering useful suggestions based on his extensive experience.

The work was also completed quickly. In less than a month from the date we agreed on a design, Econize was out at our house, installing the finished cabinetry. The 5-person install team, led by Steve, finished both installs (and an update of our very small pre-existing bedroom closet) within just half a day. Even for assembling pieces manufactured in advance, I was impressed at how efficiently the team worked and how well they followed the design we agreed to.

We definitely feel that we got the value we hoped for when investing in a large home improvement like this. Thank you, Econize team!

All of my interactions with Econize staff --
on the phone, in person, and text messages -- were positive. Any questions and concerns I had were responded to quickly and respectfully. The install team arrived on time and finished up in a timely fashion. My closet area is on the small side for a walk-in closet, but with the Econize updates, it is much more user friendly than the builder grade product I started with. I love my new closet!!

Econize was recommended through a family friend, and I have to say, it was one of the easiest home improvement processes I’ve been through. From beginning (scheduling a consultation) to end (finished closet) my interactions with Econize were stress-free.

Trent, who did my consultation was easy-going and showed me a mock-up of what my closet could look like. He left me with a bunch of information and gave me time to think it over.

I was able to get an installation scheduled fairly quickly (about 2 weeks out). They don’t do demolition, so I used the two weeks to remove my old shelves, patch up the walls, and paint.

We scheduled estimates with a couple of companies. Econize was quick to respond, very thorough with their estimate (other companies did not provide a 3D model as part of the estimate-promising that would come after deposit), and offered the best price. They also discussed variable pros and cons to find the right look at the right cost. I am very grateful to Meg for her time, interior design guidance, and adaptability as my vision changed a bit over our time together. Communication was great from start to finish. Steve and the installation team were excellent with communication, respecting our house, and craftsmanship.
