I recently worked with East Coast Mechanical for the installation of heat pumps/mini splits at my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the start, Dave, the sales rep, was extremely knowledgeable. He clearly explained the entire process, the financial side, and the benefits versus cons of the system. His insight helped me make an informed decision, and the fact that we could get the work done before federal incentives and rebates ended sealed the deal.

The installation itself was seamless. The team was on time, respectful of my home, and made sure to keep my pets safe and secure during the process. It's been a few months now since the system was installed, and I have zero regrets. I've already saved over $600 on oil, and my home is consistently warmer without the usual guilt over energy costs. This summer I look forward to enjoying comfortable temperatures in an old house that would be difficult to add central air to.

We recently replaced our entire HVAC system with a Mitsubishi heat pump through East Coast Mechanical, and we couldn’t be more impressed. We initially met with Dave C. just to get a third quote, as we’d already seen two others and were leaning toward one of them. But Dave’s deep knowledge, tailored recommendations, and genuine approach completely shifted our perspective. Although East Coast’s proposal wasn’t the lowest in price, it’s true what they say: you get what you pay for.

Dave’s commitment went beyond just the quote—he took the time to answer our follow-up questions in detail and showed a dedication that made us feel like we were in good hands from the very start. The installation team—Cole, Trevor, Lex, and Nick—were equally impressive. Every one of them was courteous, professional, and highly skilled. They patiently answered my questions, worked with our scheduling needs, and demonstrated exceptional workmanship. The system install was spotless, everything organized and tidy.

The Mitsubishi system itself is fantastic, but I’d argue that the real value lies in the people, expertise, and quality of service East Coast brings to the table. We’ve used other HVAC companies locally before, and while they’ve met expectations, East Coast Mechanical went above and beyond. Every interaction with their team reflected their professionalism and dedication.

Administratively, they are incredibly thorough. Calls are answered or returned promptly, and their close-out packet is impressive—it includes everything you need to know about the system, maintenance guidance, and even a reminder to call for inspections (which no one else ever mentioned, assuming we knew!). They checked in after installation to make sure everything was running smoothly and to see if we had any lingering questions.

While we haven’t yet had experience with their maintenance services, we’re confident that East Coast will continue to impress us. After such a standout experience, I wouldn’t recommend any other HVAC company but East Coast Mechanical. They’ve set a high standard, checking every box with care and expertise.

East Coast retrofitted our house with a Mitsubishi A/C-Heat Pump setup. We previously had no a/c and a baseboard hot water heat system. From Dave the estimator to Chris, Travis and their crew, they worked seamlessly, quickly and efficiently to install their whole setup. They were very knowledgeable and professional about their products and services. We went over all the details and the system works great. There was even a town rebate and a $2000 tax deduction from the federal. I would highly recommend this firm.
