My wife and I stopped by today to pick up a ribeye for dinner. The gal working at the front desk was wonderful and helpful. We selected a 1.25 lb ribeye and took it back to our cabin. During thawing, I salted it thoroughly on both sides. It was beautifully marbled and a glorious deep red. I cooked it in a cast iron skillet for 5 minutes on each side and basted in butter. After a 10 minute, foil wrapped rest, it was ready. Perfect medium rare!
My wife and I like hitting some of the best steakhouses in Denver, including Shanahan's, Eddie V's, Del Frisco's, Eddie Merlot's, Buckhorn Exchange... you get the picture. This steak we had tonight was the best steak I've had in my life, period. In. My. Life.
Bravo on raising and selling such an excellent product and having such wonderful employees!

Picked a few choices beef selections ribeye and sirloin. Both where awesome. We really enjoyed the sirloin on the 2nd night. was outstanding!

Y’all have some of the best meat! We have been traveling around Colorado and always top at the local meat shops and farmers markets. The meat we got here, has been some of THE BEST! We should have gotten more. We 100% will be stopping at Eagle Rock Ranch Mercantile next time we are in the area. This place is family run, and they really know their meat. The awesome woman that helped us out was so nice and so friendly. Thank you all for taking care of your cows the way you do, because it makes for some of the tastiest beef. Please, keep doing what you are doing.

We're summer residents in Jefferson and one of the highlights of the summer is Eagle Rock Ranch Mercantile. Every one is always incredibly friendly, informative, and helpful. It's always high quality, priced accordingly, and one of the places we always intend to shop when looking for something to grill. It's a family affair and we had the pleasure of having great service from two small and friendly assistants helping in the store and in the dirt outside.

Highly recommend this spot for service, quality and price. If you're looking for great meat call ahead to ensure its available 🙂

My wife and I were there the week of Oct. 8-16-2022. We bought a 3 pound piece of chuck for beef stew and the meat was beautiful. That made Whole Foods chuck just so so and in Florida I buy meat from WF.

I got the burger but for me I like it ground twice. My daughter loved it and I bought her a pound for her freezer. All the meat at this store is frozen which makes sense.

I believe a family member served us that day and she was very nice. I really enjoyed the experience and quality meats.

Do you ship? I would make burgers from the chuck as I like to grind my meat for burgers.

We went in to say hi to the dogs and left with delicious meat. We enjoyed the ground beef for burgers, hot dogs, spicy link sausage and summer sausage. We enjoyed it so much, I left it as part of my AirB&B review as a place to check out. Definitely stop in if your in Fairplay.
